PC's on it's last legs so this is a no brainer!
HAHA OH WOW.

Regardless, I see nothing wrong with offering the game to a larger audience than just the PC.
Hey Blackadder, what's so funny?!
(apart from the joke that is my PC)
Oh, it's YOUR PC that is dying. I misread that as the whole "PC gaming is Dead" spiel. Apologies, I took you for a jerk. Might want to edit a "MY PC" into your post. Sorry.

Already own it, played it twice, modded it all while playing on Ultra graphics and ubersampling.

Getting the Xbox collectors edition anyway. Why? Because we need more principled developers who treat their customers like customers rather than potential thieves or idiotic magpies. They get my money regardless of what platform they release their game for.

Never got far into Witcher 1, it crashed every 30 minutes or so. I guess the big issues have been fixed since then but at the time other games had taken precedence for my gaming time. But maybe this would be a good time to pick it up again, and then play 2 on my xbox, hmm :)

And since it has been mentioned, for all you PC only gamers out there, I'm rooting for you to be able to play dark souls, easily my favourite game from last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Witcher 2 bombed on consoles.

We shall see.
You mean like how Dark Souls bombed on consoles?...

Wait, that didn't actually happen.

There is a certainly a market for 'hardcore' RPG games on consoles. I'll definately be picking this up on day one.

I suppose it's full price? I watched an LP of it once upon a time... I'll probably buy it at some point though. My laptop lags on menu screens in anywhere recent games. Really bad lag. Move the mouse and it waits three seconds to actually move... Navigating to the "exit to browser" button is a damn trial.

I'm surprised TF2 worked ok before, even if it did lag a bit when i had the audacity to look at several enemies at once. Then my battery exploded and now TF2 won't even run :(

Y'know I'll get it once my unholy backlog of games decides to leave me in peace. Yes MGS3 i'll get back to you in a bit, no don't look at me like that Bayonetta, Deus Ex go to your room!

Fucking Steam and its epic sales...

Couldn't get through an hour of the first one on my comp. Will certainly not be getting it on my Xbox.

No, I already have it on PC and don?t own an Xbox. I hope it does well on the Xbox tho, it is a great game.

For those who played but didn't like the first game, the 2nd is very different so don't be put off by that.

Well PC version supports a gamepad and it works flawlessly. Some PC gamers even prefer to play it with a gamepad. I doubt Xbox 360 will have any problems with controls.

while this is very true, i think it is slightly skewed in that it wasn't offered on PC, so for the hardcore rpg'ists they had to go with their secondary option. if i had extra cash hell i'd buy someone a copy for 360, CD projekt deserves every dollar they get.

to be fair, the first witcher is EXTREMELY hard to get into, especially in the beginning, but the 2nd game is DEFINITELY worth a look, they really kicked it into gear and made a fucking masterpiece of a game.

i'm one of those people and it worked phenomenally, especially for rolling and guiding through the menu.

The game sold over 1 million copies on PC before they even put it on Steam. Also it's a console friendly game, I played it with an Xbox 360 controller on my PC.

Unless they made the combat more interesting than "Wait till the edge of your sword turns orange for MASSIVE DAMAGE" I don't think I'll be playing it.

They did, the combat system was completely redone and is much more active and involved now.

I have it for PC, but I really don't understand all the praise this game got. It was gorgeous, and had some good writing, but the gameplay was just short of atrocious in my opinion. Boring combat, boring exploration, etc... Reminded me of a much better designed Bethesda game, and I HATE Bethesda games.
