The text on his computer is bull. If you look closely, it essentially says this.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Also, I heard they coined 2 new names. One I forget, and the other I THINK is Xbox Phoenix. I don't have a source for that, but I don't think they're going to keep going with the degree name. By the way, I see that subliminal message thing on /v/ like five times a day, it's starting to drive me insane.

My question is why people assume MS will continue naming their consoles after degrees...
That's a common misconception, the X-Box 360, while being named after degrees, was actually named as a way of sticking it to Sony, by having a console who's name is spelt out on the Playstation controller.

---------------X---------------------------------------------Box------------------------------------------360

Microsoft's clever naming and marketing ploy means that whenever a someone looks at a Playstation controller, or enters a certain button combo in a game, they're subconsciously thinking X-Box 360.

I'm sure there are even a few quick-time events in some Sony games which tell the player "Use X-Box 360 not to die".

Free advertising at it's best.
You win the fanboy wars, something previously thought impossable.

Ummm....
I see a fundamental flaw in this.

Wouldn't Microsoft want to improve their hardware so it doesn't die? Or are they just acknowledging that they can't be bothered to fix the problem and would rather cause a gamer to be without their Xbox for 2 weeks.

The new console will STILL have RRod???

Fail. just Fail.

What is Microsoft doing with its money? Not improving the console apparently.

This has to be fake, the idea is just stupid.

It's obviously meant as a joke, the only reason anyone might take this seriously because it's not very funny at all.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE. I think we've just uncovered a government conspiracy.

As soon as I saw "TREY 4 LIFE", I knew it was a scam for you to buy the PS3 and any other future product along with it.

This "TREY 4 LIFE" signature means that the person is part of the Trey Brotherhood. Google it, and prepare to facepalm like never before.

"They puttin' the Blu-Ray in the Xbox..."

Oh man, so funny. Seriously, though, the next Xbox will likely fail as hard as this one did...
