As an aerospace engineering student and aspiring pilot (damn, flying lessons are EXPENSIVE), I will have to say inverted. It seems more natural to me.

I usually go with the game's default setting, sometimes it's normal sometimes it's inverted, I get used to either one pretty quickly.

I think inverted only makes sense in a flight simulator. If I'm playing an FPS I'd like to be able to look up when I push up.

Inverted on consoles, mostly because of years on flight simulators. It just feels right. But I can play normal as well, I just need to adjust.

I used to play inverted until a friend convinced me to go normal. Now I stick with normal.

Inverted. I always get fooled up on normal. I guess it's just the way my brain is wired. I'd like the to know the percentage of left handed people vs. right handed people in relation to whether or not you use inverted controls. perhaps that has something to do with it, as the right and left hemispheres of the handle things differently.

Non-inverted. I don't push or pull my head around with my thumb so I'm quite happy to go with the gaming simplicity of up = up.

Normal: Camera controls and gun aiming are distinct enough from flying a plane for there to be little reason to use inverted. I started out using inverted for firing controls, but the game that broke me of that habit was Knife Edge: Nose Gunner on the N64. A person/ gun position is not a plane, full stop.

I prefer it to be normal, inverted just feels weird. Except on Shadow of the Colossus, I have ton invert those controls or I fail horribly, even though I know what I should be doing...

I use inverted on fps games, but normal on 3ps.

I rationalize my fps controls with the idea that the muscles in the back of your neck contract to make your head look up and vice-versa.

my friend was totally confused when trying to play MGS4 with my controls. Up is up in 3p mode, but up is down in fps mode... kinda confuses me talking about it, BUT IT WORKS DAMNIT!
