I have a Zune--one of the small 8GB models. I was totally in love with it until the Marketplace and player software was updated for use with the Zune HD. First, I couldn't get the new software to install, so I couldn't buy music that way (which honestly a big deal). Then I got the software installed and my Zune wouldn't sync anymore. I had to fiddle around with the different driver software versions since customer service is crap. I had to put the old driver back on so it would sync and THEN update to the new version.

I don't know if I'd buy another Zune after that issue, but I probably wouldn't get an iPod either.

I use a 120GB 3rd gen Zune. And I don't have to go through Itunes to get music, so score!

Pretty sure you can't buy a Zune over here, though I've seen a few people with 'em, didn't think too much of them to be honest, though I would like to see the Zune HD.
Otherwise iPod for me, got myself the original nano and a 30gb classic, really do need a bigger one soon though.

A Cowon D2!

At the time, it was better than the iPod classic. It's outclassed nowadays, and definitely showing its age

I would of stayed with my 4gb iPod Nano, but I was running out of space and my sister was selling her 8gb iPod Touch. I bought it off her for $150 and should be buying her 32gb iPod Touch off her soon for around $200 because I am running out of space on my 8gb and she doesn't need her 32gb anymore.

I actually prefer the zune, but when the time came to purchase a larger digital media player I opted for an iPod based on the strength of the associated software.

I still have the old 30GB iPod. You know, the one from 5 years ago with no touch capabilities whatsoever? Yeah, that one.

Come to think of it, I barely use it.
I have that one too. It makes me sad knowing the battery will die for good soon.

I have a Touch. Its pretty much the only Apple product I've ever thought was worth the money (bear in mind we can't get a Zune over here, and pretty much any other touch screen MP3 player blows).

Music is a huge part of my life and I demand lossless audio in a digital format which the IPod does not provide and I'm not sure about the latest generation of Zune.

So, I do not own either. I own a Cowon S9, they are critically acclaimed and reputably the best sounding MP3 players around supporting most formats and having a digital output, store 32gig, customisable interface (if you have and know Flash) or you can skin it via downloads, play movies on an OLED screen higher quality than typical screens, really does have a stupidly long battery life and the whole touch screen, gravity sensor, blutooth gimmicky nonsense too.

I find the problem with most people who are in the IPod crowd in particular is that they are miss-informed that their product is the best, however, if they would have spent some time doing research from people/sites/shops who know what they're talking about and don't buy into image they may have chosen differently.

Those comments are based on the technology at the time, I haven't looked into MP3 players since buying, why would I when I'm happy with the S9? However, I do believe I heard that the latest Zune has somewhat modelled itself on the S9.

Got a Sandisk Sansa, great player but unlike the ipod it's not horribly overpriced.

I'm curious about Zune HD, i kinda want one, but don't need it as i have a zune 20GB and an ipod. I like the Zune better, but i use my ipod nano more because its more convenient and iTunes is just much easier to deal with than the Zune marketplace stuff, in my opinion.

You're halfway to hell, post count wise.

I like iPods myself. I don't know why, I tried the Zune, I didn't like it. So I stuck with El Pod.

Although I hated the iPhone.
Technically 666 was just a codename for some roman emperor dude they just didn't say his name so they don't die
