Poll: There's something in my house.

don't worry to much. I do think that ghost exist a little(house I lived in caught fie and the town photographer that lived there was burned alive in the fire, I had plenty of "ghost like things happen" to me there) and I think that if it is some kind of entity, that it is only minor and won't do to much. in the morning, do some research on the house and learn about it. if the house is fine and dandy, it was a cat, if it has had a death, get a proton pack.

You want something thats actually real.....watch the haunting in conncticuit. it is a true story but dont always think that the way they potryed it in the movie is real...... the texas chainsaw massacure was REAL but it had noting to do with a chainsaw.need proof that the haunting in conneticuit was real? watch the credits.they show real photos of the house and they all show some ghost in the picture..

OT:good thing you found your dog so at least if it attacks you, you will have backup and do barricade yourself in the room if you dont want to go out there and fight it yourself.

that kind of crazy shit has happened at my dads house... except every once in a while i would see something, a couple months ago i was getting ready to go asleep and i had my eyes closed for 2 min.,i heard a noise, i opened my eyes and i saw a weird looking thing in front of me, it disapeared and then i felt like i got electrocuted..... and no im not on drugs

I was saying that shit is real. I was ten when I lived there and I am afraid of both the water(almost drowned) and of the dark(that place was scary as hell) because of what happened at the house I lived at. but I guess I should also help the topic so

OT: your dog didn't get hit, that is a good thing, but someone said toss some meat out to see if it was an animal. if it is, than just get it out of you're house. if not, proton pack.

OT: Yeah, I might call the police if this were real. Then hunker down near some sort of escape area with some sort of weapon with your dog and stay there until morning/the police arrive. A pastor and/or animal control might also be effective.

I'll tell you what I did when I thought I had someone or something in my house...

First off, a little backstory. I am borderline obsessed with the show Supernatural, so I have occult scribblings all over my shit. So I grabbed my baseball bat from my car trunk, knowing that with the symbols I had on it I'd be able to f*** anything up, and quietly worked my way up the stairs. It was some overweight dude in all black with a bag, taking some things from my room. So naturally, I yelled at him and hit him. Hard.

He was still unconscious long after the police took him away.

So my advise to you is take some easy to swing weapon (baseball bat, fire poker, lead pipe) and quietly search your upstairs. Despite the fact that I do believe in the Supernatural, I highly doubt its anything of the sort. Best of luck.

Well I have had this happen to me, once. Just be calm, wait it out till morning and just check for any damage, if their is any damage it is either a cat, or maybe something freaky is going on (just to ditch the seriousness of this comment, maybe you will get on ghostlab
also in the morning check your phones and call someone you trust (he/she doesn't have to be near you)

My guess is that you forgot where your milk is, and it was probably a small animal that got into your house. The phone, Idk it is just probably one of the no signal times.

EDIT: Oh yeah and call the police they will probably do some checks with some supernatural crew or something.
