Poll: Things to look forward in 2012

2011 gave me many things to indulge my nerdy/niche tastes with... obscure Japanese RPG no one else played, memorable anime shows, the freaking "Looney Tunes" getting a brand new show that doesn't reek of anachronistic failure and plenty of films to watch at this year's Venice Film Festival (I go there every year to review stuff, cool uh?).
I have many things to look forward for this year as well, including a possible Apocalypse (please, let them be right this time). What are your expectations?

EDIT: The "Studio Ghibli" option (which, somehow, refuses to be corrected), refers to their very first JRPG: "Ni no Kuni", which I'm sure is going to be outstanding.

Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli, you'd be correct. They made a JRPG with Level 5.

The Hobbit. Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. Mass Effect 3. Bioshock Infinite. Halo 4. Sort of on that last one.

The Witcher 2 is also coming out on consoles. That's a "maybe" for me, quite a big one.

That's about it as far as media consumption goes. As for everything else... well, life will press forward and I have no clue what to expect from it.

If "The Witcher 2" ever comes for PS3, I might consider it a purchase factor.

What I'm looking forward to this year is The Hobbit, The Avengers, Iron Sky, Silent Hill HD Collection, the final two episodes of Gundam Unicorn, One Piece, and possibly a animated series of Gundam Wing Frozen Teardrop.

In the realm of entertainment, gaming/movies, etc. I am not really looking forward to anything in 2012. It is mostly a desolate wasteland for the foreseeable future.

Other: I was some freaking SNOW next winter. The Northeast US is getting absolute crap weather here. It's cycling up into the 40's (Fahrenheit) repeatedly and murdering our chances of getting snow instead of depressing cold rain. We got one freak snowstorm in October and not a single flake since.

Mostly looking forward to Mass Effect 3 in gaming terms. To be honest, I'm not sure I know anything else that's coming out that I want to get.
There are quite a few films, however, that I'd like to see; The Avengers, The Hobbit and The Dark Knights Rises being the main standouts. Can't wait to see any of those mentioned above.

OT: I'm not really looking forward to many films or games. The games I'm looking forward to are mainly Metro Last Light, Bioshock Infinite and maybe GTA 5. TV shows are Walking dead and ofc, MLP: FiM. Movies I'm gonna go for Prometheus, Django Unchained and Brave. Seems like a cool year ahead, doesn't really look as good as 2011 though in my eyes.
