No intention of playing it.
I rarely play my 360, ever. I don't feel like hooking it up.
Competitive PC gaming isn't really my thing outside a casual TF2 game here and there.
I refuse to to even consider the XBone as a valid platform for the time being.

Well if it goes 50% off or less on steam, I have money at the time, and feel like playing an FPS at the time I'll definitely probably buy it.

Why isn't "YouTube" an option?
Or a video streaming service.
Because it's a multiplayer only game?

OT: not interested. My 360 red ringged and i'm not touching the xbone, and i don't play games on PC, because i like games working out of the ( metaphorical) box.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize the internet allowed us to communicate transdimensionally to a world where people didn't record or stream their multiplayer matches. Do fish fly over there too?

Not buying a console for a multiplayer FPS that will be a ghost town in 6 months when the next flavour of the month takes over and I refuse to knowingly infect my PC with spyware; the only options if I ever do get interested enough to care are streaming or recorded matches. I don't see how you could become so confused as to imagine I wasn't aware of a well advertised feature of the game and its limitations.

Their is nothing wrong with Origin ...
All evidence to the contrary, of course.

http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/03/bug-on-eas-origin-game-platform-allows-attackers-to-hijack-player-pcs/

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20130318/01034122364/eas-troubles-keep-getting-worse-big-security-flaw-discovered-origin-platform.shtml

http://www.vg247.com/2012/11/14/origin-hacks-eas-security-system-locks-users-out-of-their-own-account-source/

http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2012/11/14/ea-origin-accounts-hacked-time-change-your-passwords/

And to add insult to this injury, here's EA's official response on the matter:

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/14/ea-denies-reports-of-origin-hack

Personally, my only interested in the game as just another data point on EA's fail chart.

you know that the most recent of those is a year old right? you know before they changed CEOs, fixed origin, and actually started doing some things right.
Believe it or not John Riccitiello was once half decent, going as far as admitting "EA blew it" with Bullfrog and Westwood all the while releasing games like Mirrors Edge, Dead Space and 'started doing things right'.

Then fast forward a few years and EA is back to being a bastard.

Now things are turning full circle with EA attempting to 'make nice' only this time they state to the press no less that "Battlefield 4 has been an exceedingly successful product on both consoles and PC. From a sales perspective"

The same Battlefield 4 that was lambasted and described as "a PR nightmare on all fronts" due to its stability at launch.

I'd only buy it for Steam. Origin can suck my dick. I'd possibly buy it for 360 if Microsoft stop charging for multiplayer. I'm never buying an Xbox One.

Poll is going to be very skewed because this is a poll on an internet forum...every forum is dominated by PC gamers.

I know many who own a smartphone/tablet for browsing + their gaming console, no PC. Or a workstation-spec PC at best.

I buy games late and play them forever. A multiplayer only game isn't a good deal for me because it lives and dies on the number of people playing it :( Plus EA will shut down the servers eventually and no-one will be able to play it.

I can't work out which platform will be most popular though. It depends whether they were making a previous-gen game and then bumped it up, or if they've known about the current-gen consoles for a while now. If the former than I imagine the 360 will be the most popular because everyone still has one.

If the latter, the 360 version may be too gimped for that. I can see it selling 1 million to 2 million Xbox One's but that still limits them to probably 4 million sales max. So despite the PC being the smallest market by a bit for multiplatform releases, I wouldn't be surprised if the PC did win this one

well first they weren't wrong from a sell perspective it was very successful just not, you know from any other.(it sold really well.) Also want to point out that I said they were getting better not that they did a complete 180, it takes time for people change more so for companies.

I'm not much into multiplayer only games.....however, this one looks super fun. Should I purchase it, it will be for the PC. I do not and have not owned an Xbox console of any kind and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

PC, evidently.

It's a shooter and my PC can handle it. I have yet to come across any decent reason to play a shooter on anything but a PC unless that's absolutely not an option.

I'll be playing it on Xbox One.

I suck with keyboard + mouse so I'd rather use the same control method as everybody else. Plus, while I don't have a problem with Origin, I still expect EA to fuck up the PC version somehow. Does the PC version use Punkbuster?
