I'd be careful there Albino if I were you...

I don't follow Rugby in any way, shape, or form but if Rugby fans are anything like any other sports fan base that has ever existed in the history of organized and disorganized sports, it's that they will straight up murder you for talking like that!

Rugby fans aren't like any other fan base. Despite vast quantities of alcohol been ingested while watching there isn't any trouble in the grounds. Rugby fans are not tribal and have good time. This the biggest upset in world cup history and there is no hostilit, even to Schalk Burger.

That's what they allllllll say.

Our fans are classy! They would never ever do anything like that! It's a U13 In-House soccer team for crying out loud!

Then a game gets chippy and all of a sudden the park ranger has to come over and shadow the parents side of the field just because a few "I'm going to kill you in the parking lot" threats are made from one parent to another...

Now I'm not saying Rugby fans are going to murder you. All I'm saying is that you might want to have all your affairs in order >.>

I can tell that you are not a rugby fan because you are allowed to punch the other side on the field. As long as you don't run into a fight and throw a few punches then it's not even a penalty.

No need for crowd violence when you have punch ups on the pitch

Having a look at the pool they're in, Japan look like a half decent chance to at least make the quarter finals. Scotland will be a tough ask but Samoa and USA should be winnable games. I'm just glad they're not in pool A with Australia, that pool is hard enough as is, thank you very much.

As a New Zealander I will point out that there's been some... strong migration of players from here to Japan.

The team has New Zealand consultants, players and coaching staff.

That being said, this is one hell of an upset. Japan currently hold the record for the largest defeat in International Rugby history, 145-17, so they've come a long way and it's great to see the "lesser" rugby nations creating such upsets.

The Brave Blossoms competed in the scrum and the breakdown with the Boks. If they can repeat the same level of physicality against Scotland they stand a good chance of winning. Japan has lost the element of surprise so Scotland will be ready for them in away the Bok's weren't.

As for pool A, I think the wallabies will get through with Wales injury crises. They lost Corey Allen today and may have to replace 2 of Gatland's first choice props because of the rules saying you need 4 fit props when they only have 2

I watched the whole thing. Greatest rugby match I've seen in a while. I was amazed the japanese went for the try rather than points but all credit to them the gamble paid off. Assuming they beat the USA and either scotland or samoa then they've got a good shot at a place in the quarters.

And if not at least they gave us an incredible game.

Japan has been improving massively since sir John Kerwin started coaching them they played a game in the last world cup against New Zealand and lost by less then 100 points i cant remember the score but it was around 119-20 i think which was a huge improvement over the previous match
they are being coached Eddie Jones now an Australian and Australia are the second or third best in the world
