If the world wishes to be perfect, then it must work towards that, whether that means facing natural disasters, wars, disease and everything else or not. If I simply make the world perfect then no one will have learned anything, there will be no true course of history and people will eventually revert back to the old ways because there is nothing to teach them otherwise. Even if the world is never perfect, we will still be learning to live with each other and to deal with problems as they arise as well as teaching future people to do so as well.

It's what we call a necessary evil.

Do nothing.

Utopia does not exist, and will never exist. Happiness relies on somebody suffering somewhere, somehow.

But then again.. Being the emperor of planet earth with brainwashed peasants at my feet sounds awesome...

Interesting to see the megalomaniac side of the Escapist. I for one would command my minions to stop this nonsense about why people who don't worship your god should die.

I'd totally sacrifice myself but only if after they put a sweet solid gold statue of me in every city.

Do nothing. I AM pretty lazy.

I will instead use my new-found powers to metaphorically hack real life and spawn infinite money.

Wouldn't "making the world into a supposed perfect world where wars are not fought and every nation would experience great prosperity and happiness" involve unifying peoples beliefs anyway? In which case, why would anyone sacrifice themselves, when they can achieve the same result without dying?

...This just seems like two answers = one result.

Kind of from a selfish point of view on the whole, but I'd do nothing. Mainly because I wouldn't want to die even for the rest of the world, but also because the other option is a little domineering, you may as well make the world a dictatorship run by one person and have done with it. Whereas I also feel that the world needs to achieve perfection through the actions and ideals of the people within it. Even if it's a hard, deadly road, if something's worth having then it's worth working hard for. If you aren't prepared to work hard for something then there's no point having it in the end, or even wanting it in the first place.

The idea of a supposed "perfect" world with no wars and happiness sound like 'Brave New World' a nightmare world of mediocrity and shallow consumerism.

Perfect is no more than 1 mans perspective, your real question boils down to are you willing to give your life to mold your "ideal world" or are you willing to inslave everyone for your "ideal world" both of which... are terrible.

My ideal world may be unpleasant to another person mind as is vise versa, why should I impose my opinion of perfection on the world? What makes me superior in judgment? Nothing, I am not all seeing or all knowing, i can not account for everything there is in my judgment. So i can not make a call like that.

The world is beautiful without this kind of interference. People all have their own personalities their own traits, their own ways of life and thats the way it should be. I can not imagine living in a world were everyone would be bent to my will, I take no pleasure in slaves, i prefer pure company, Just who they are and who they choose to be not me telling them what to be. That would be like living in some kinda of play that never ends, you just setting up dolls to knock them down for your own amusement. Things are the way they are for a reason. So i would choose nothing.

Unify, because the other is the same except more boring and I'm dead. at least in this one we will have giant paintball wars to decide the fates of nations.

i would either live till iam like 80 and kill myself for that utopia thing or
unify every one in the belief that there are no beliefs effectively crashing the system....

Do nothing, the other two options are a bit too subjective for me to contemplate because both options need for people's thoughts to be altered so that they won't want to fight each other. It's taking away free will, which may bring utopia but also tends to spell stagnation and entropy.
