Mezmerize and Hypnotize were my two favourite albums. All the songs on there were very catchy. Who didn't like 'Vicinity of Obscenity'? Being completely about nothing.

As for my faviorite Era, I absolutely love the first album, Steal this Album was okay, Toxicity was awesome, and Mesmerise / Hpynotise were okay with some awesome tracks such as Lost in Hollywood

I merely commented on the disenfranchisement of a large group of people.

I used to be obsessed with SOAD, pretty much for all my highschool years, really.

That being said, while Mesmerize and Hypnotize had some fantastic tracks and were fun as hell.. I think the first three albums were more true to SOAD. Mes/Hypno seemed a little too hyper and a bit forced to me. Still good, still catchy and my GOD still fun to play, but.. There wasn't really anything new, save for Daron doing lead vocals.. Which I think was mostly unnecessary.

Eh. I'll always have a soft spot for the earlier albums.

Damnit! I deleted all my SOAD albums off the computer and now I've got that song stuck in my head. I haven't listened to it in over 2 years! Damn you!

Their first album is easily the best, and Hypnotize easily the worst.

Toxicity and Mesmerize go alright as well though.

Maybe he figured 'System of a Down' being in the title would mean that people not interested in them wouldn't bother to click on the System of a Down related thread just to make annoying comments.

Toxicity was definatly their best album, in my opinion, but all of their albums are quite good.
