Warm and crispy of course. How could anyone like it any other way?

Warm and soft with melted butter, just like when I was a little kid.

It isn't toast if it isn't warm and crispy.

I prefer my toast warm. Cold is bland and I hate the taste of crispy.

I also prefer it more if my warm toast was freshly baked.

Right, the perfect toast - It has to bread you cut yourself, soft bread and cut it thick.
Just nicely coloured, you know, golden brown is what you're aiming to get it toasted to.
nstantly take it out when it's popped up from the toaster and spread with butter straight away so it melts in not blobbs on the top D: then, proceed to get Marmite and spread as much as you desire on.
Take toast to seat or w/e and eat while it's still warm. Cold toast is yuck!

Perfect.

Warm and soft and falling apart due to the amount of butter/margarine on it.

I like my toast how I like my potato-related fried foods: hot and crispy on the outside, but soft and warm on the inside. I usually leave it in the toaster until the entire outside is a perfect golden brown. And then I take it out and I'll put on either:
- a 2" layer of Cheez Whiz
- a 2" layer of peanut butter with honey drizzled on it and cinnamon
- a 2" layer of peanut butter with a fruit jelly
- a super-thin layer of margarine or butter
