I agree with this. I created a 'mega-topic' recently that seems to have garnered some interest: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.168645

And I see plenty of other mega-threads like the Short Story Thread, the Artist In Thee thread, and so on. And there's the Relationship Advice thread. All of these were created to avoid people clogging up the forums with the same threads over and over again. And they've proven that the concept does work. So I reckon that the staff should, if possible, implement such a system. Even just more filing of threads, more topic folders in the Forum pages, would help. Merging threads would be even better. It's been proven to work with certain Off-Topic ideas, so why not Gaming Discussion too?

I agree with BonsaiK. A big thread like the MW2 one is a very good idea to apply to ME2 and maybe Bioshock 2 and FF XIII in the future as well given the high profile of both those games.
What about Half Life 2: Episode 3? Just imagine what the review section will be like.
My Review of HL2:E3

GOLD. SOLID GOLD. I LIKED THE WAY THE COMBINE KILLED FREEMAN, SO YOU COULD PLAY AS G-MAN. G-MAN ROX! I GIVE THE ENTIRE SERIES 30 STARS OUT OF 32

You should read Watchmen though, it's one of the better graphic novels. Regardless, I do agree that Megathreads should be made by Mods and only Mods.
I have had one of my friends say that the graphic novel was quite good after he saw the film but didn't enjoy it. I might have to have a look at it at some point in the future.

I just got all nostalgic too, your avatar at the moment is the one you had when I first joined this site! Ah memories.

I can agree to that. The movie was good, well written, acted and directed (and it stayed true to the novel, which is hard for a movie-of-the-book), but it was too unsubtle. All of the implied parts were brandished on the screen in every gory detail, and I didn't appreciate that.

Yeah, I noticed that that time of year was coming, and I just had to dig it up. Boyd makes me smile in all his craziness.

I sort of agree with the first option, except a megathread for new games would quickly dissolve into a massive clusterfuck.
