i can honestly say that no trend has, or ever will, make me eat babies.
the trend for skinny jeans annoys me a bit, though.
*Looks outside and sees a girl in skinny jeans* Why don't you like skinny jeans?! ;)

I hate the Disney music trend...I have friends who have younger siblings and they play it because they think it's cool/hip.
on guys, on girls it's very good, but guys just look a bit ridiculous in them (how do their crotches take the punishment?).
Yeah I hate it when guys wear skinny jeans too....It just looks painful.
Actually, it's called stretch denim. So I have plenty of room. XD

I mean WTF!? buy your own pants, don't wear your sister's
also, emo clothing.
oh, and rap music and Disney type music.
by the way I wear a teeshirt, a plaid shirt above it and some jeans and listen to Coheed and Cambria, (some) Fallout Boy, Kings of leon, Alice in Chains, The Offspring, Our Lady Peace, Foo Fighters, Panic! at the Disco, the Doors, Beatles, AC/DC along with hundreds of others.

Music. Back in the classical days, it was purely an artform, just as much so as paintings and statues.

There are still some artsy bands out there, but there's also bands like Black Eyed Peas. This makes me want to eat babies.

Disclaimer: I know perfectly well there's people out there who like BEP (and I can respect that!), although they're about as far from an artistic sense as sacrificing goats.
What are you talking about man?!?!?1 Sacrifiing goats IS an art form! Back when it was still legal, we sacrificed goats 3 times a week, and people came from miles around to see our skill and recieve our blessing!

Just kiddin, although I do like BEP

Commercialized counter-culture.

Dennis Miller said:
"You see, what makes our culture simultaneously infuriating and gratifying is our uncanny ability to muzzle the rebel by gradually absorbing him into the system...

...come on, people, fight the power! Be different! Because you know... don't you want to fit in?"
This pretty much covers many of the most annoying trends in America today, the emo subculture, the rapper subculture, the shitty music, and the half-baked political ideologies on the extreme-left side of the scale.

I don't care about trends. I avoid things I don't like and it kind of goes against my philosophies to go against people. They can do whatever they want, as long as they don't touch me, I don't care. I'll still probably criticize them, but it's their fucking life and they should be doing whatever they want.

And you're quite a hypocrite,OP, I suggest you to look over your own post for evidence.
you realize that sentence is hypocritical right? "I don't care, they can do what they want, but I'll probably still critisize them" If you dont care why are you critisizing them?

Internet misanthropy.

Saying that you hate all humans because you have a massively inflated ego and are still mad at the kids at school who called you a ****** doesn't make you cool or interesting.

"Even though I live in an upper middle class neighborhood, I can still say life sucks because I have parents that care about me, or I can imagine that instead of a being a person whose skin color makes paper seem dark I can imagine that I'm an African American stereotype and/or a rapper!"

Music.

All the music kids listen to these days make me want to shoot them then myself. I know I'm only 15 but still. I know people older than me who obsess over the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. I mean, seriously! Who the hell actually thinks that Lady Gaga is talented? Or that the Black Eyed Peas are revolutionary? Or that this emo bullshit like Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Green Day is good? How the hell can someone listen to Boom Boom Pow and think its the best song ever? I know 6 year olds with better taste in music!!!!!
So uh you have ruled out rap, disney, and alternative music styles...so what do you like?

By the way, Fallout Boy, Greenday, and BEP are quite talented

Oh I hate this to. Worst part is that it seems to be becoming more common.

I eat babies regardless. They're really quite tasty with a nice hollandaise sauce.

The only trend I don't like at the minute is that all of the guys I know bar 2 wear flannel shirts. So that's what's sexy these days, fucking lumberjacks.

Music. Some of the crap kids are listening to these days makes me want to shoot myself. That makes me sound really old but im only 18. Its the most obnoxious shit ive ever heard. Like that birthday sex song. Seriously.. he says "birthday sex" over and over in it like a idiotic broken record. How can anyone listen to that and actually like it? And the people who make that music get tons of money off of it because people who like it are too stupid to find some actual good music to listen to.
This. Not to mention, that whole 'genre' of 'music' completely lacks any real culture, except maybe for some silly gangster/dance hybrid. And put any of these 'artists' in, say, a chamber choir, and they would most likely suck ass.

Although, while I don't like Usher or his music, I can at least respect him a lot because of that amazing remake of Gene Kelly's Singin' In The Rain he did. But these other new artists put barely any effort into their music, release 2-3 albums, then fade into the abyss of drugs, DUIs, and Brittany Spears.

Having somewhat "different", "alternative", or "independent" tastes for the sole purpose of singling yourself out from the crowd in a vain, superficial attempt to appear as if the person of superior pretensions.

That is actually pretty irritating.

[small]Though, to be fair, I can't stand most popular music, unless it's a Film Score, some retro Pop, retro Electronica, or Classical.[/small]

You have good taste in music. The Offspring is my favourite band, and The Foo Fighters are Fallout Boy isnt too far down the list

Any ten year old kid that thinks he's "da shit" because he has a baseball cap, has baggy pants and thinks 50 cent is cool.

Clothes - meh, if someone's wearing clothes that want me to "eat babies" as you put it, likleyhood is i'll never see that person again. Same logic applies to shoes

Personality - If someone has a despicable personality, I'll either ignore them, or apply my ice-cold wit. I normaly get told to f-off when I do, but it makes me feel good.

Music - now here's something where I'm coninuously banging my head against the wall. Is it me or has the pop industry died since American Idol and X-Factor? Pop artists keep churning out the same rubbish over and over and over and over (ooh, made myself dizzy) again. When ever I hear a Lagy GaGa song begin on the radio or nearby, my blood runs cold. Same with Rap/Hip-Hop, it all sounds the same
