I focus on the most complex part of the song at the time. So if the guitar is just doing one cord every once in a while and the drummer is doing some complex thing (I should really learn some music terms) then I would focus on the drums.

Yes.
Sometimes it's the guitar, sometimes the drums, sometimes the vocals.
But guitar solos always get my attention.

Mostly the vocals, because I dont play instruments, but I can sing pretty well ,and hearing the vocals helps me get better, its also what gives a lot of songs there meaning.

If there's piano, I'll focus on that. Otherwise, I'll focus on the rhythm - thus usually the drums.

All of it at different times, I usually listen to a song more than once.

Guitar usually grabs me first though, but not in the metal-head sort of way.

I can separate songs apart completely.
I just focus on a specific part, and it comes forth.
Same here. I usually start by listening to the riff and then the melodics.

Vocals and guitar, then comes drums; I can't hear bass unless it's really noticeable. I think vocals for me either makes or breaks a song.

For a narcissistic guitarplayer like myself, it has become natural for me to locate the guitar in any song but if the drum/bass part is really good then I tend to fall out of focus.

I listen to both the Drums and Bass since I play both of these instruments. It's probably the drums that I'm more interested in though but it mostly depends on the song.

I can focus on any individual track in a piece of music at will, as long as I've heard it enough. I can also listen to it fairly holistically. I never really thought about it, but I love doing it. It drastically increases the amount of time I can listen to a song without getting bored. So, I sort of cycle through the whole thing.

I play a lot of instruments (None of them very well), and I was just thinking about this the other day. When I listen to music I will drift from track to track, one moment being the drums, the other, vocals. I mainly focus on drums and synth, since those pique my interests the most, but I will listen for bass, vocals, and lead/rhythm guitar as well. It's interesting hearing how other people listen to music, as well.

First thing that I lsten to is guitars...everything else is secondary.

I guess my playing guitar may have something to do with that.
