DDO for me. Have a lifetime to LOTRO and never log in (think I did manage to get a champion to maybe 11 before the boredom hit). Been on DDO since I think May of 2006. :)

DDO hands down greater than every other MMO by any other company...until someone else builds either a) another MMO with real-time FPS style combat and massive character customization or b) a new D&D MMO (hopefully still real-time)

What in God's name is AC?

LoTRO was just okay. Servers seemed extraordinarily underpopulated when I played.

DDO seems pretty good so far. Just hit level three on my Halfling Rogue today, so that's more dedication to an MMO game than I usually have. Only problem with the game is the extreme lack of a gnomish race.

I vote DDO, but I have a nostalgic love of AC as well. Due to being an angry purist Tolkien fan (the kind that insists on watching the extended edition movies and then complains all the way through), I probably won't be trying LOTRO.

As much as I loved AC, DDO's graphics are richer, and I enjoy the instanced dungeons and the fact that I was actually able to cap a couple of characters, whereas my husband and I had hit a terrible grind in AC before we switched games. I miss my cottage, though, and the randomized loot.

I've never had much chance to try AC.

I bought and tried DDO but was playing so many other mmo's at the time I cancelled DDO after a few months. I'd like to go back some day (maybe if they offer lifetime subs) but I just can't pay monthly fees for another mmo I don't have time to play.

I do have the LotRO lifetime membership, and play it but am so casual in it that I still haven't joined a kin and am only level 30 after 6 months. :)
