You heard me, "Twilight" was honored in a horror movie montage that included such films as...
Eh, nevermind. It's only there because of it's the current flavour of the month.

Give it ten years and the next horror montage, Jaws, Silence of the Lambs, Friday the Thirteenth, The Shining, The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby will all still be there. Whilst the pale pre teen faux drama will be languishing in the bottom of a bargain bin somewhere and no one at the oscars will even admit to it's having ever existed.

Twilight, as a novel, brilliant, as a movie, The bane of my existence. VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE. sorry for the caps, I actually was yelling whilst I was typing that.

Saying Twilight is horror because it has vampires and werewolves in it is like saying Citizen Kane is an alpine sports movie because there's a sled in it.

Silence of the lambs probably goes better as a thriller than a horror. I guess technically Twilight could be a horror film? Hang on, wikipedia check on 'horror film'

"Horror films are movies that strive to elicit the emotions of fear, horror and terror from viewers. Their plots frequently involve themes of death, the supernatural or mental illness. Many horror movies also include a central villain"

Yeah, sadly it just might count. Doesn't mean anyone has to like it though...
However, in the interests of fairness, I intend to borrow Twilight (the book) from my step-sister and see if I can actually read the whole thing. Wish me luck!

I considered it a joke about how bad it was. If not, it still was shown only for 3 seconds. Other than that, the montage was brilliant.

I absolutely hated that the Twilight retards were presenting an award and basically trolling everyone with a half-decent taste in movies. That werewolf boy should pull the pole out of his ass, he can't even walk on stage.

But to be honest, "Silence of the Lambs" is more drama and "Aliens" is definitely Sci-Fi.

Though I can overlook those mistakes. This one.......Twilight......honestly???
Sci-Fi is just the setting, not the genre ;)

i'd rather say fantasy.

just because you have vampires doesn't make it a horror.
the only horrific thing in twilight was shining vampires

This is just proof that the people voting have no idea what they are fucking talking about. Seriously the only reason twilight is popular is because it appeals to two group preteens and teenage girls. It will be a horror movie when my shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet. Minus that the horror montage was good.

A cookie to whoever can figure out the movie reference.

While this is almost certainly true, it's not the usual method that horror films use to scare the audience.
Still an honorable attempt.
