Well, earlier this month something like this happened near where I live. A couple pulled over to talk to this 17 year old girl, then the lady got out of the car to ask her something, distracting her so the guy would come from behind and grab her. Once he did that, they threw the girl into their car and made her drink some blood while throwing cats at her (wtf). According to the girl, next to her was another girl about her age, apparently sleeping. They drove around for a few hours before they let her go. I don't think they had any bacon, though.

But don't worry, this happened in the third world.

Depends, if it was a pretty girl I would be charmed.

But in general I would think it is kinda creepy.

creepy, no.

i've had people pull over to talk to me, usually in the 'asking for directions' kinda way.

never been hit on, that would likely throw me way off

Unless I knew the person, I would be a bit suspicious and cautious, and try to end the conversation quickly and get out of there.

Depending on the location I'm walking on, mainly if I'm alone or somewhere with some people in sight (yeah depend if it was s genuie thing or someone is trying to kidnap me).

Ehhhh it depends on a variety of factors.

If someone just parks next to me and goes "Hey studly, wanna play hide the bratwurst?" I would end that conversation as non-awkardly as humanly possible and then get hightail out of there.

Now if it was natural, someone driving up to me and asking for directions and then puts on the charm once she sees me for the hot stuff I am then maybe. Still an odd situation though.

But I'm in Sweden, and while our "reservedness" is often exaggerated, there are places here where trying to do some small talk at the bus stop makes people think you're a soviet spy.
If you're from a culture where going to the grocery store consists of youths screaming "Ey mamasita! Show em titties!" at you a million times (and that's if you're a dude) then maybe you'll have better luck.

If and only if I find them attractive, it's not creepy.
Sort of this. Does that make me shallow?

Besides, I'm naturally suspicious of everyone anyway. Meet someone over the internet? They want to harvest my organs.
Nothing after two years? They're playing the long game, building up my trust and eroding my suspicion, but I'll not be fooled!

Five years?
... very long game. They must be super serious. Better suspect the fuck outta them.

I don't care what they look like, if they are hot or have confidence... it's always creepy. I would honestly be scared out of my mind. I get scared enough when people at bus stops ask if I have change. It screams "I'm going to get you into my car and assault you". Not only that but if I'm walking somewhere I don't want to be bothered, I only go outside to get shit done. Anyone thinking them wanting to try and pick me up *ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD* is more important than my business is obnoxious and probably full of themselves.

Seriously, I'd be polite (it always pays to be polite to randomers, especially potential nutters you encounter!), but quietly freaked out. And no way in hell would I be giving out my (real) name/number.

I'd think it was a bit suspicious seeing as I've been single for about 12 years and had to deal with a lot of rejection so someone randomly parking a car and asking me out? Something funny is going on there

Listen to you all. Now you know how pretty much every NPC in every game ever feels, learn this feeling well, and become a better person for it.
You just won the thread, I think. :D

Anyway, yeah I'd be creeped out. Flattered a little bit, maybe. But most definitely creeped out.

Not necessarily creeped out but very, VERY suspicious. I'd be curious enough to hear what they'd have to say but I'd be extremely wary the whole time.
