Just wondering if anyone here on the Escapist attends university. What Uni do you go to? What do you study? And for all those who don't go, are you concidering going to university in the future?

I might go in the future. However, because of my father's unemployment, I may have to go to community college for two years and then switch to NC State. Thank God I live in NC where the education is fantastic.

I am likely going, but I'll probably take a year off after this year to both get some funds, and figure out why I am going at all.

I did the exact same thing, its a msart decision in my opinion. I Taken a year off from education to get my funds sorted out and enjoy life a little bit more AKA game all day.

I'm starting at the University of Manchester later this month studying Geology with Planetary Science. I'm going straight for the 4-year Master's degree, then hopefully a PhD.
I'm so looking forward to it

Off to Aberystwyth to study History in about 3 weeks! ^_^ Can't wait!

I go to Aberystwyth University, Wales. Studying history, done my first year and am going back in early October to start the 2nd year. So far, so good.

My flat for this coming this year is ok, but I dont think I wanna live there again next year. Other than that I'm really looking forward to getting back

I'm studying to be a vet at Edinburgh. I'm in my final year, in 10 months I'll be fully qualified.

You have to tell me how many people in your class are there because they play Modern warfare.

So many in mine were. They had no interest in games beyond the FPS.

So many in mine were. They had no interest in games beyond the FPS.

Those people, if that's all they're interested in, sound useless for the course. People should have more of an imagination and creativity. Nothing's wrong with an FPS, but Jesus, variety is a good thing.

OT: I'm about to start on the great scrum for university spots. Here's hoping I end up somewhere good.
