Thursday, eh? Day off, strangely enough. So that means one or more of the following: gaming, writing, taking a walk, going out for a Guinness, playing chess.

Treat it like a normal day, except giving my girlfriend a card and some chocolate...
AND I MADE THE CARD MYSELF. ROMANTIC AND STUFF.

This is awesome. I'm gonna borrow this idea.

I'll probably be going to watch a movie or something. My boyfriend was in Afghanistan on last years valentines day (for work, hes not in the army or anything) so it's nice to just be in the same country as him ! Plus hes got an interview on the day, so haven't planned much just going to decide when I see him.

Unless an act of God occurs, I'll probably be alone in my apartment watching TV of playing games. You never know though, I could find a girl in one day.

I'll be on the same boat as everyone.
I'll be alone... in my place.
Unless a miracle happens, which will make me happy. :D

Doubt it though. XD

So basically hang out here.
Do games.
Do anime.
Come here on the escapist because you guys are cool, [sub]and alone like me ^.^[/sub]

If the miracle doesn't happen... I'll do what I do everyday except I have a high percentage of crying myself to sleep, heh heh. XD

I dont really care about this holiday. I have nobody of similar interests to take part in it with either. I find this holiday in particular pretty pointless to be honest.....it basically exists just so people can pretend to show love towards each other, even if in reality they truly despise the person.

well I have college classes followed by work, so nothing special.

Was sort of seeing somebody until about last week, didn't work out, probably would have made plans for today or friday, but no biggie really. (Was just one of those "lets see where this goes" sort of flings, she lost interest after a few weeks, didn't end up going anywhere, so meh)

I've never really treated valentines day as a holiday really, the times I've had a girlfriend I'd go on a date, but nothing more significant than any other date (birthdays have always been a bigger date day for me)

Go to Uni. Attend 5 hours of lectures and seminars. Leave. See girlfriend. Go for walk. Make EPIC CARBONARA OF EPIC. Eat EPIC CARBONARA OF EPIC. Go to film. See film. Come back to mine. Watch being Human/Castle/Spooks.

Regular day since we have film passes for the student cinema and I enjoy cooking for her. Does help that most days she lives with me anyway.

Just spending Valentine's Day with me, myself and my right hand (because using my left hand is just plain awkward, especially when using a mouse).

But, then again, it IS just reduced to a lowly Hallmark holiday nowadays. Nothing to be concerned about, right? Right?

But, enough about me. I am curious, what are all you fellow Escapists upto on this overly pink and heart shaped holiday?
Well, there was talk of a four-way with another couple this Friday, but we'll see if that actually pans out.

Otherwise, we already had our Valentine's date (this past Saturday) and exchanged gifts (I got jewelry and lingerie) so as far as I know, the only plans for tomorrow are to play some D&D together in the afternoon/evening and then have sex for an hour or two. So, you know, the usual for a Thursday.

I have a single 1 hour lecture tomorrow, which will be the only time I leave my house. Like the other 18 Valentine's days I've experienced, nothing special is happening, and I wouldn't have even realised tomorrow was that day if it wasn't for the topics about it on here.

I'll be spending the evening/night at work, and my fiance will probably be asleep the whole day after working a night shift tonight. We celebrated it on tuesday instead, with the whole nice dinner/drink/film/back rub thing.

Watching Disney movies with a group of friends and taking a day off from my diet (unfortunately, I've been on it long enough that the amount of sugar I can consume without a splitting headache is quite small).

Well I work from 10:30Am-4:30Pm. Then I'll go home, eat, do homework, listen to music, play video games and go to sleep. SO basically nothing out of the ordinary. 23 valentines days alone can we go for 24!

Working, then probably drinking a little(not a lot) and sleeping, not much time for much else, as I have party-ing to do the next night... after a 12hour work shift, don't wanna be too tired, y'know.

My husband and I aren't doing anything. We went out to eat today, but not to celebrate Valentines Day. We were in the city running errands and decided to have our meal of the day. I made him a card for tomorrow, but I don't see any reason to do anything other than that. We'll probably hunker down in our offices to play video games and perhaps see each other at lunch or dinner time when we forage for food. I may make cookies, but only because the cookie jar is empty and we can't have that, now can we?
