Hell fuckity yes. I wouldn't be able to attack someone in a position like that, unless they were my most hated enemy. And I've always like vampire settings (until Twilight ruined it - sparkly sparkly), so yeah I'd say yes.

The choice to becoming a vampire though...I dunno...

After being forced to watch "Blade: Trilogy" I commited my life to killing all things vampiric, demi-vamperic, that clame to be vamperic, desire to be vamperic, or enjoyed "Twilight".

I don't care if he says it won't turn me, he could be lying or tragically mistaken for all I know. However, if I was an expert on vampires (and I'm not) and knew he wouldn't turn me then what the heck, probably the only chance I'll ever get to actually save a life.

As to becoming a vampire, no thanks. It'd make getting to work in the morning a real hassle. All that direct sunlight... I'm already uncomfortable in the sun thank you very much.

Of course, if there's one thing anyone here's learned from the fantasy genre, its:
young, female virgin + anything evil = bad things.
I wouldn't risk it.
Vampires are typically in the "anything evil" category, but I'd feel bad about leaving them to die. I'd probably just call an ambulance and let them sort it out.

I kill the dumb bastard. Actually, I gag the bastard and find these hunters. With vampires like him nailing the masquerade sideways, vampirism would get me hunted down and killed within a week. Now the hunters, they've got the means to take out a vamp. He's specifically stated that they're hunters, not just loons, so they're professional. I join them, get myself some training and crap, plus a collection of weapons, a safehourse, and 5 new friends.

Tie him up, give him a little bit of my blood (cut myself, and let him drink a few drops- no actual bite-bite) and only give him enough to give him a few more hours to live. Get him to tell me where the vampire hunters are, find them and bring the hunters to where the vampire is.

Tell the vampire hunters that unless they have no better reason to kill him because he is a vampire, then it would be better if he becomes a double agent. I would suggest that we release him on the condition that he does not spread his vampirism to innocent humans (if he does and we find out we kill him) and that he serves as an informant into the activities of vampire clans- it would make vampire hunting a lot easier.

Then, to ensure loyalty we capture another vampire, and have him as another informant to keep an eye on the original informant. We tell the original vampire that another informant is watching him, and vice-versa- but neither know who. If it all gets complicated, kill them both.

Let him, simply because there's a chance I can be a vampire too. I'd be holding something pretty pointy and pretty garlic-y in my hand, just in case. He can't expect me to trust him on a whim when he's been lying about his existence.

Then I'd personally hunt down the people who answered "Drink all the blood you need" to this poll and try the same act out.
