Poll: Video Game Music! Scores, OSTs, Arrangements... Everything!

I have a passion for video game music (talking original scores here, Guitar Hero/Rock Band have an unfair advantage and don't count...), I'm kinda the metal/rock lover, but every now and then, I get drawn into the multi-cultural differences that various video game scores have. What are your favorites and recommendations?

Out of all those, Chrono Trigger.

After doing Video Games Live, gotta say the music in Blizzard games is surprisingly good. The music in Myst is really good too.

I've been browsing The Escapist for quite some time now on the verge of creating an account, and this thread gave me the reason I needed.

The Blazblue OST is fantastic, I'm a fan of FF7 music and CR, but Blazblue would have gotten my vote.

Chrono Trigger, for a lack of anything else good on the list.

My faves include Myst series(notably 2, 3, and 4), Megaman 2 and 3, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and of course, any Zelda game after A Link to the Past in 3-D. I have more, but lame poll gets lame response from me.

Mercenaries 2 have pretty catchy soundtrack,though.

Timesplitter and TImesplitters 2 had some great music. I also liked Z.O.E. 2, Gunvalkeryie, Kinetica, Katamari Damacy, Phantom Crash, and Crimson Sea. All great games as well.

Why did you make a poll? There are so many possible answers to this question that having a poll is pointless.

Off the top of my head, I like the music in Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, Guild Wars, Pikmin, Left4Dead, Fallout, Super Mario 64, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Castle Crashers, Halo, and a bunch of other games that I can't think of right now.

And not a single one of those is an option on your poll.

I actually bought the complete soundtracks for both chrono trigger and FFVII and the video game music I listen most to is.... Final Fantasy VI (yes, that is a 6)... final fantasy VIII also has music that I'll listen to on occasion

In fact, I'm not sure Matoi Sakuraba did anything from those options...

I did enjoy FF7, but after hearing the Reunion Tracks, specifically the arranged instrumental ones, I wish they had did more live recordings.

I apologize about the poll selections. Perhaps I should have done a survey to narrow down the popular choices. However, thanks for viewing anyway. I guess I'll make a few adjustments.

EDIT: What the hell is Ogre Battle?

Ogre Battle is actually a Strategy RPG that came out originally for the SNES back in the 90's. It personally had a great score in my opinion.
