Poll: Video game violence. What is worse?

Hmmmmm.

Well They seem to have certain point but overall all games have gore in a way.

Just look at Super Mario Bros ! He stomps fully on the mushroom ! All it's inside instantly squished and totally difigured.

And for no reason you do it over and over again. ..... Gears of War Curb stomp is no match to the brutality Mario delivers...

There was alot of blood there and violence, but not a wide span of it. Body explode, remove head, explode etc

Thrill kill is the goriest game ive played, the reason it was banned (that and because one of the female character dressed liek a slut clown)

Looks like a very lousy Mortal Kombat rip-off. Speaking of MK, the Trilogy part had the biggest spectrum of possible Finishes. Each one of them extremely gory, of course.

Wow, that was pretty harsh actually. I've never heard of that game.

Violence, gore and body parts in every direction is fun at first, but then it gets boring as hell. Games with too much of it simply get boring fast.
Let's not talk about my Fallout dismemberment habit though.

It does seem to take the focus away from the game play. I rather developers work on making a good game than pretty blood and body parts.

although its not out yet and theres no gameplay footage of it, but what about splatterhouse? i mean c'mon, the name just sounds gorey, and if you saw the screenshots for it ive seen you would definitely consider it

Well that's just another game that I had never played the earlier ones so I'm not sure what it's trying to live up to. But yeah, they are pretty bloody but it's in the Halloween bloody type vibe.
