Poll: Video games intoxicated

I was wondering how often people play video games while intoxicated and which video games are played most of the time during intoxication.

Have you ever been intoxicated while playing a video game, if so what we're you on and which video game/genre do you prefer to play?
I myself play video games almost every time i get high (which isn't very often) and tend to play tf2 mainly because of the community and ability to fool around on less serious servers.

I don't get intoxicated.

If I did, I'd probably play Wii Sports Resort. Any game will require fine manipulation, but at least that one also requires full-body motion.

I don't usually find myself intoxicated. It's always a very unpleasant experience, and I try to avoid things that are unpleasant.

Never been intoxicated, so I've definitely never gamed intoxicated. Seems like it would just inhibit your skills.

Just once, but it was all in good fun, My little sister had gotten High School Musical dance pad for the 360 on christmas, all of the family were playing it and making fun of the way we danced, it was the first time I drank beer...and the last time.
It was fun and all but I felt sick.

When I used to play wow I often played that intoxicated. If I'm on my my own i tend to play TF2, or some other type of shooter.
If I have other people around Guitar Hero usually gets a fair playing.
I usually try to go for something that means i don't have to concentrate heaps.

I have never been high nor drunk. I couldn't care less about poisoning myself, so no I don't play games intoxicated.

When I still played WoW though, we had a healer who regularly played while being stoned, that was pretty dang entertaining. He also healed better than when he was sober. Drunk people on Ventrilo are even more entertaining. Silly people making fools of themselves.

I only drink socially, so the only games I've played drunk have been Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Guitar Hero World Tour.

When I played Brawl I just stared away from the screen, directly at my friends face as I button mashed. I couldn't even see it in my peripherals. I won.

I have and still play computer games slightly drunk with friends, normaly beat em ups and fps, and it is fun. We even have a few drinking games depending on thre game being played.

I do indeed, Oblivion is very fun while (legally) stoned.

When you start walking, half pass out and wake up and you're on the other side of the game world missing half your health bar, that's when you know you're partying!

Other good games include Psychonauts, Braid and Myst. Mirrors Edge becomes...interesting.

I don't play online games though, I'd just bring the whole team down if I was off me head.

And a bit of advice, don't play FEAR....

I played psychonauts baked out my mind one morning and it was the most fun thing i have ever done, i can't play rpgs like oblivion when i'm high, maybe i would enjoy it if i was baked enough to find being confused as fuck entertaining

I love the community on online games. i don't play any server/match that effects my score or peoples arounds me, ie ranked matches,

If I'm really into an RPG, before I go out to get drunk I hide the game somehow from myself, I'm always scared I'll spend all my money on some shit or lose something important.

I've played TF2 drunk a few times, it's alright, should hide my mic though, I remember shouting.

Guitar Hero is amazing drunk with people, dancing about headbanging or whatever whilst playing is too fun.

I don't get drunk on my own though, so playing games is a rarity as I usually do that at home, so unless I come home early, I tend to just post something to make a fool out of myself on Facebook and pass out.

I tend to play games hungover more, like now, I'm trying to think of a slow game with not much thought to play, but I'm not playing WoW at the moment and Total War takes too much thought...

that's a fact, and yes, there are people who did weed, and still were prety smart, but most of the time you're just burning through braincells.

There's been no conclusive proof that weed kills brain cells. I think the official theory is that weed makes your brain cells inactive for the few hours that you're high. The studies done in the 70's that suggested that weed was bad for you, were conducted very poorly on rhesus monkeys. The experiment almost looked like they were trying to harm the monkeys. Basically what they did was strap a mask attached to a gas tank filled with Marijuana smoke onto the monkeys' faces everyday for fifteen minutes for a year. Forcing an animal to breath nothing but smoke for fifteen minutes straight everyday for 365 day is going to cause damage. To your lungs, your heart, your brain, pretty much anything.
