Game is awesome.

I love (and hate...) the amount of choices and different paths you can take.
Whilst the main storyline isn't as good as Fallout 3's, in my opinion, I think overall I prefer the game...and I LOVED Fallout 3.

Honestly one of the best games I've ever played. It's up there with Morrowind and from me, that is a huge compliment (I've put thousands of hours into that game). I've played New Vegas for about 45 hours now and I still have so much to do. I just love the damn thing!

I love the game.
I've actually gotten addicted to its "Caravan" card game. And have been trying to teach my friends and family how to play it in real life.

My only real complaint at this point are the occasional crashes (haven't gotten any really poorly timed ones yet), and those bloody Cazadors... why the hell is a bloatfly clone deadlier than a Deathclaw?

I love it! But is far more difficult than Fallout 3..

Now im stuck in vault 34, low on health.. Have no stimpacks, no Radaway and no Rad-x..

Damn those radiated limb molesting ghouls! They have been the death of me many times..

Must get out somehow and come back when i have "ultra mega death slap yo face in da ground" weapons..

EDIT: Why do shotguns for shit for damage? I mights as well run of to my fiends and fart in their face hoping the eggsmell will drain them for health..
get Shotgun Surgeon, negates 10 DT, mix with finesse, better criticals, 1st recon beret, and possibly built to destroy history, you will deal some impressive damage with the lever action or hunting/riot shotgun.

OT: DEATHCLAWS!

why? because DEATHCLAWS!

seriously, the game seems to just want to place them in some bullshit places when I am wandering around.

but beyond the common 'oh, hey, an undiscovered location, I think I will just walk over here an lo-OMGDEATHCLAWS! fuckfuckfuck, BOONE, NO! REX YOU DUMBASS! why, why, WHY?' followed by around 6-8 deathclaws engaging in what is best described as 'a gang-rape to my face', I find the game pretty fun, in fact I got it with Fable III, and haven't picked up Fable III since.
Thats the problem, i only select perks and such that makes sience, speech, medicine and lockpick go up. Have 10 points on intelligence, not so much on agility and stuff that makes me awesome with weapons..
I just hate it when there are doors that i cannot open, safes i cannot crack, and people i cannot swift talk into doing whatever i please..

I've somewhat tried to learn and understand that game caravan, and i buy all cards i come across in the game.. But the rules seems so bloody complex i've not really gotten into it..

Is there an easy way to learn it?

Yeah, those Cazadors are retardedly difficult.. Fast, agile and can handle a bunch of pain..

Well, for me, the biggest obstacle was just working out how to select cards once I had started playing the game. Because the game had been using WADS for everything else, it didn't immediately occur to me to use the arrow keys... as for an easy way to learn how to play it...
You can do what I did and just copy down the rules by hand verbatim (so that it gets you thinking about how the actual rules work), or you can watch this video, which also helped me get a good general strategy going:

Good luck.

I love New Vegas, it feels like the old games while obviously playing way more like Fallout 3. It's a good balance and I'm way into it.

DEATHCLAWS!

I love it. DId Vault 22 last night, one of the most evocative atmospheres i've ever experienced in a video game.
Only complaint I have is that there are so many options! I'm gonna have to replay at least 4 times to get everything done. :L

I love it to pieces. For me, it's the true Fallout 3.
I hated that game.

I just got to the ending, and I've not had as much fun in a while.

It's pretty much incredawesome.
I've actually encountered very few buqs (only 5 in a complete level-30 playthrouqh).

Hardcore is literally delicious. (Note: do not try to actually lick your screen) After Hardcore, I had to qet used to the fact that there was no real need for stockpilinq food, and that I could just wait & fast travel with no penalties.

The only problem is that Rex dies ALL THE TIME. Seriously, if you qet two of anythinq, Rex will die aqainst it. Althouqh that is probably my fault, for not qettinq him the correct brain.

Anyway, aiminq down siqhts is awesome.

also if you can qet 100 unarmed by the time you qet to primm and then buy the bladed qauntlet you win forever
