What the may fight apathy party stands for!
Our manifesto is thus, if voted in as Escapist WarChief I promise
1) Cheap JetPacks for all Escapist, I vow to petition JetPack Manufacturers to Subsidise us
gamers to make our JetPack fascination more affordable.
2) To set up the Jeremy Petter Fan Club User group, where us Jeremy fans can congregate in
safety, topics of discussion would be his handsomeness and excellent comedic timing, once a
month a Jeremy Petter Cookie baking contest will be held with the winner whose cookies most
resemble Jeremy Petter will be honoured with his 5 oclock shadow.
3) Create a community based thread for the helping of Newbies, too many times our patience has
been tested by VS threads, well I say the time of scathing newbies IS OVER!, a thread
dedicated to help newbies intergrate better with the community.
4) petition world Goverments to make international Pirate day a National holiday!.
5) I will be your front line to battling Developers to make online gaming a friendlier place!
any request to be swiftly dealt with such as forcng dedicated servers and bannings of
cheaters!.

1. Attempt to better educate the community about not feeding trolls, how to avoid trolls etc.
2. Fostering a healthy relationship with users and mods, and encourage users to PM mods if they have a grievance.
3. Ending elitism and tensions amongst the community, with community wide events such as open ended threads and such.
4. Introductions for all new Escapees. Happy First Post, stay out of the basement, that sort of thing. Use TheNamlessGuy's tried and tested method.

I am the leader the Paladin Party. We are strong, strict believers in order and law. We believe that the best way to stop trolls is to uphold the rules of the Moderators, and we shall report those who refuse to obey them. We enforce the use of good grammar, spelling, and punctuation on the forums.
We believe that us Escapists must be polite, friendly, and must uphold the laws of the Moderators. We must be nice to others while enforcing the rules of the forums. New members will be welcomed with open arms, but will have to obey the rules if they want to stay.
By following these beliefs, we shall strengthen our community and protect our site from trolls and other such scum.

-The Veterans can help teach them how to navigate the forums and the various rules of conduct i.e. what the moderators allow and disallow.

I stand for the Unity party. Our goal is to foster tightened community relations between disparate cliques of the Escapist, should they be willing. New members and old members, for example. By doing this, we can prevent fractures that so often appear in forums like this. Means that could potentially be used would be joint reviews, community wide threads, encouragement of those on the various sub forums to interact with each other.
We support the ending of posting on troll threads, better and more widespread use of the report button and PMing mods, introductions for all new members when applicable, and an end to elitism.
Remember, tough on trolls, tough on the causes of trolls. We fully support the Escapist staff and Red Guard.
