You know i get stuck in games a lot of times. I'm just not smart enough to know where to go or how to solve a puzzle so i turn to a walkthrough. Then i see everything that I've missed because i didn't follow said walkthrough. So i keep using it and using it! But from what ive found on games that I've beaten with a walkthrough and games that i have beaten with out a walkthrough is that its always way more satisfying without one. It makes you feel just...good enough i guess. So i guess im just asking do you feel the same that when you use a walkthrough its just less fun but sometimes needed?

I usually try to find every thing but if push comes to shove and I am stuck on a part then yes I will use my computer to look up a walk through but if its something like get all the star coins in Mario Galaxy then I won't use it.

Very rarely use walkthroughs, usually only after finished the game to see if i missed something interesting...

Albeit, i used walkthrough on RDR to find two of the goldbar treasures.
Though i found the 8 other ones on my own..

I usually buy a guide for a game where it's easy to miss stuff and I may need alot of advice, like Final Fantasy. But apart from that I'll try to get through, if stuck or looking for stuff later I'll use a walkthrough.

I used a Walkthrough to help me pick the right stats on Star Wars: KotOR, but that was it. The only reason I used it was because I didn't find something that explained things indepth, so I used the walkthrough. But even when I'm stuck in a game, I won't use a walkthrough. If I can't beat it, then I quit and come back to it later.

If there is a part in a game where there are collectables, but collecting them won't influence the story, I will sometimes use a walkthough to find them.

If I am stuck on one part of the game for more than an hour, while the rest of the game has been comparatively easy, I will use a walkthough for that part.

I never use walkthroughs in open-world games, unless I have played through 3 or more characters and need to find something I haven't found before.

also do you guys remember that ayleid ruin in the mages guild quests where you had to cast spells on the pillar to have it open up well i figured it out the first time and then i just used a walkthrough on my other characters because that puzzle wasnt fun doing it more than once

If I get really stuck on any game I'll consult a walkthrough, but ultimately beating everything is down to me and me alone.
(And a walkthrough can only help so much)

I always try to figure things out on my own in a game before looking at walkthroughs. If there's a particularly ridiculous puzzle or an area that I get stuck in, though, I bless the internet's unlimited information on at least seven different ways to shove your boot up any boss's ass.

If it's some ridiculous collect 50 kajillion ruples for ultimate glory then I'll look up a walkthrough. But if it's a puzzle I'll stick it out to the end, or at least get help from family and friends.

I use them if I get really stuck, they're a last resort and using them makes me feel like the game has defeated me.

I'll use them if I'm stuck, usually if I can't find my way to somewhere, which is normally the result of poor level/in-game map design (damn you Splinter Cell). Sometimes I'll have a brief peek at the walkthrough of a game I'm considering buying but haven't played, because it gives you a sense of what the game is like.

What about no/yes to the poor people??? Anyways most of the time I won't use a walk through unless I'm really stuck. The other time I'll do it is if I've beaten the game and I want to 100% it.
