Oh no! Are you saying that by picking Spiderman as his favorite superhero, Obama was pandering to Comic book geeks. Oh my God! Everyone knows Comic book geeks always have high voter turnout!

I guess Obama just wants to be a guy in red-blue pajamas swinging around Washington DC.

I'd say he genuinly likes spiderman.
After all Spider Man did save his life, from shape shifting terrorist. According to the Sydney Morning Hearald.

Spiderman is one of the most popular superheroes of all time... the reason why Obama can't like him run past me...

Political move for what? I doubt if getting on the good side of spiderman lovers will score him many votes over choosing any other superhero. He has no reason to lie really. I suppose Spiderman could be a more everyman superhero and Mr. Obama wants to stress that to get across that he is an everyman but that is really stretching it to far. I don't see any reason why it would not be true.
Close, the idea would be that he wants to attach himself to the friendly neighborhood hero that is known and loved as this soft hugable figure. Not as a big deal, but rather a subtle hint as to his character, rather than the brooding batman or wolverine.

But mostly I think this:

Who fucking cares that he likes Spider-man? And getting off subject, who the fuck cares that he got a dog?

I don't really care. Also I read Spiderman with Obama's appearance (#583) and it was really... meh.

This obviously means that he's a satanist and only picked Spiderman because he made a deal with the devil. Yes I'm still pissed about One More Day.

I do hope you all realize this is a joke. I wrote it to make fun of the whole dog and ncaa bracket stuff. It's sad that people care this much about unimportant stuff instead of the real issues like iraq, the economy and so much more. I want you all to know that I don't really care whether he likes superman or spiderman, cats or dogs, red or blue. I don't even care about his race. I just care what he does as president the next four years. I'm sorry to all who thought I was serious about this.
