Well in my high school I felt that it was more of a constant grind to keep up grades and do you homework which i felt the homework was more busy work then it was actually learning for it never actually helped me work. So what would happen is I would get great Test results because i understood the material but wind up with C's because i didn't do the work. It was more a practice in work ethic then learning.

I didn't really like school. The only good bit was my friends and History class (which I loved for some reason). Some of the teachers were nice but alot of the kids were complete arses. College is way better. I'm working in a field I love, with people who share my passion. It's awesome.

Well i'm still in college so I guess you could say i'm still in school. But high school was a blast. Sure when your there the tests and all the crap is ridiculous but after all that you can't help but look back and smile. I never enjoyed the learning aspect of school (though it is essential) but I certainly loved dicking around with my friends for four years.

School was terrible. It was like being in prison, not becuase of the deco, or the bars, but becuase of the other children. I didn't know many people with common interests either.

This. I haven't done anything or met anyone that I wouldn't have since I've been out of school.

I was kind of blah about it. I remember that my American History teacher made us write a paper about why JFK was one of the best leaders our country ever had. I wrote a report about how he is overly glorified for getting us out of a situation that he put us in. I ended the paper by saying "Trying to create an image of JFK as a great leader is similar to trying convince people that your children are the best children ever because they cleaned their room. Doing what is expected and responsible does not make you great, it makes you mediocre."

I got an F and learned that there is no room for individual thought or opinion in our schools.

I loved College though. You will encounter professors who are similar to my aforementioned teacher, they are however, few and far between.

Ehh. High School was rather mediocre. There were some good classes/teachers (History, Philosophy, Gym), and crappy classes/teachers (Geography, Religion - I went to a Catholic School). I had a few friends and was well-liked by most people, but I had pretty much no social life. Almost any time I made plans to hang out with friends, they were busy.

As expected, my high school had ridiculous rules like "everyone must spend the first 15 minutes of class reading a novel" as some weak attempt to solve the problem of illiteracy, which often interfered with my trying to actually get some work done on an ISU in the library.

Hell, even Prom was rather uneventful. I went alone, my friends went with other friends who I wasn't really friends with, and I had a bit of fun, and left alone.

For all the "meh" that came out of high school, at least it can be said that it introduced me to my friends, my hobbies, and my dream.

High school was brutal, but college was good the first time around. After I graduated I decided to go back for cullinary arts, and completely dug it. I mainly just wanted the piece of paper that said I knew what I was doing, as I learned more on the job than in school, but it still rocked pretty hard. So I went from hate, to yay, to HELLS YES when it came to my opinion of school.

The schoolsystem needs a complete overhaul and revamp.
This. I made good friends and some memories there, but it's overly restrictive and at times shows itself as a sort of daycare center. I'd want a system more like college (it's not a solid block of extremely restricted freedom) that doesn't double as a holding place while your parents are at work, especially since unlike a lot of people I don't see kids as 'tards who'll just sell drugs and commit crimes without their time being stolen.

And health classes/propaganda in schools need to die horribly, we can all agree on that.

My schools were plagued with idiots and mediocre teachers. The close friends I made there are the only things that kept me from rage murder. College was much better though.

Lets see...

- Teachers were intentionally giving me failing grades and lying that I needed summer schooling (Have proof on both)
- Had a number of fights, none of which was fair.
- Had a weight problem back then.
- Said problems mixed in with a terribly weak personality led to questionable and dark thoughts.

Yeah... high school was horrible however there were some pros.

- I was suspended over 30 (I am serious) times in three years, 99% of them for stupid reasons; nevertheless love that I set a record.
- Completely altered my personality because of those experiences, best decision I ever made.
- Now this one you'll all hate. I dropped out and took up home schooling when the school finally said I would have to repeat grade nine. The home school did not acknowledge that, so I started grade 10 and finished 10-12 at the age of fifteen, officially receiving my diploma just a little after my 16th birthday. Kids I use to know at my old high school were not impressed.

I'm in High School and I think school is a pile of puke or shit, whatever.

I honestly won't use half that staff when I go to a university.
Half of what stuff? Chances are if you are going to a university, especially if you plan on getting a degree, you will be using a great deal of it depending upon said degree's requirements. Its just a lot more impersonal, but with many opportunities.

EDIT: My apologies for the double post. I was too tempted.
I won't use History, Geography, Chemistry, Science, Polish (;d), English (because I'm way above high school's level). The only subjects I might find useful is Math and Computer Education or however it's called in your country.

I'm going to an CE university, so I need Math to get through, and CE... well, obvious. Too bad I will have to learn programming on my own, because schools can't teach that.

So, in a way, I'm wasting time at school. I don't remember something from Chemistry, Science, History, Geography? I'll use Wiki. I don't remember something from Polish? If it's not related to language, but rather to a book or something like that... Polish wiki or I'll ignore it. Sometimes I wish we could choose subjects/classes that we would like to learn... And nothing else.
I see. I have had the misfortune of having to still go through most of that myself for my computer science degree with the excuse that they want individuals to be well-rounded no matter what they go for.
