Simple question, was the last game you played the first in it's series, a sequel, or a spinoff?

EDIT: Yes I know there isnt much discussion value, I just thought of this why trying to get some sleep. Dont expect some super epic thread. And my last game was the original Saints Row. Oh joy oh joy.

For a start I guess did you enjoy it? Do you wish for a sequel or remake?

And if you can give me a suggestion for added discussion, throw it out there.

Sequel... Why?

Generally speaking, discussions need something to discuss. You haven't even told us what yours was. May I suggest expanding the topic a little? I don't see you getting many replies if you don't.

Mine was Dragon Age 2 and I don't see what most of the fuss is about. It's far from perfect, but it's pretty damn good I think. The only real complaint I have are the re-used areas.

The last game I played was the first in its series. It was Enslaved: Odyssey To The West. Before that I played M.A.G (also original). However before that I played COD 4 which is quite obviously (shown by the number) a sequel. Actually...would it be a sequel? Or are the Modern Warfare games spin-offs?

Just finished off Lara Croft and the Guardian of light (Btw if you don't own it, it took me 7 hours in single player. Thats $15 for 7 hours of varied gameplay.) so I suppose that would be considered a spinoff.

Sequel. I'm currently playing Quest for Glory II, Civ V, and DragonQuest IX. I did play the original Quest for Glory before playing Quest for Glory II, after all I wanted to take full advantage of the character import feature.

Well, I guess Airline Tycoon Evolution is technically a sequel, even though it's really just a rerelase of the original game with the added security features. The other game before that though, was an original, Desert Strike from 1993! It was the first in the Strike series, great fun and actually quite challenging as well.
