Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. It's sort of a retelling of MK2, but in third person action game style. I can't decide whether I absolutely love it or hate it.

The only Final Fantasy that's a sequel is FFX-2.
All the others are originals in a franchise, so I guess they'd count as spinoffs.
The Final Fantasy series is kinda unique like that.

As for me, Minecraft, the originalest thing this millennium.

Ummm well i just finished playing the Mortal Kombat Demo, so its a sequel/prequel reboot demo THING.

If that doesn't count then Burnout Paradise which is a sequel! and awesome!

Does pre-original count? I've been work on an independent game in development and I don't remember what game was before that... Magic maybe?
