I wouldn't need anything on that list. This shall be my weapon against the robots.

I shall use the power of rock to hypnotize them, then I will go to the bake sale at the temple of Syrinx.

The problem is this exact same thread has been done dozens of times before. Go find the "most redundant thread" thread. These stupid bullshit zombie threads were waaaaaaaaay up there. We are all sick and tired of idiots posting these same threads without using the search button.
This is a robot thread; aside from a few references to the previous list, it has nothing to do with the undead.

Yeah yeah. You "do what you want" then you drop your balls, back peddle and change the bump before you get your ass kicked. Nice show of force kid.
That's the way things work, when there's a problem, you fix it. You'd probably do the same.

That must be a powerful spell. Don't know how well baked goods would fare, though.

All right everybody. Since the win:fail ratio on the poll is 2:1, I'm going to be making ONE MORE list: Monster Slaying. After that, I won't be making anymore for awhile, so don't try to get yourselves killed out there while I'm gone.

Later.

why would you continuisly make new lists for different threats when really you could destroy them all with one weapon or at elast that weapon would cause damage to all of them... GUNDAMS my weapon of choice. of course robot uprisings... but still.

Robots wouldn't kill humans anyway. That would be illogical.
If there was a robot uprising it would be a Irobot (the movie) style revolution, robots taking over because humans need loking after.
even in indiependence day the robots kill humans only out of a slight miscalculation in programming. They're supposed to protect the country, not nessessarily the people in it, and the people are ruining the country, ergo, humanity is a threat.
Now it's unlikely that anyone would design any kind of AI to think like that.

Pretty good, but stop thinking so rigidly! Don't forget about a wonderful .50 caliber sniper rifle (e.g. Barrett M107) through the limbs to stop movement, then a casual mercy-kill shot! Though, I'm quite partial to the IED concept coupled with the sniper idea. I never liked the thought of being right next to the scary robot. How about half a mile away in the safety and comfort of my fictional Laz-E-Boy, looking through a high-powered scope?

Everything on that list except for the IEMP and the break and enter tool was wrong. If the robots turn up with armour that can't stop a 7.62mm round then they really aren't a threat, if they can then the M60 is going to be useless as is everything less powerful than a dedicated anti-material sniper rifle or a .50 machine gun. The RPG is a negligible threat to any humanoid size robot as scoring a direct with such an inaccurate weapon is unlikely. Also no military ever, anywhere, is going to give civilians access to an MGL-140 or an RPG 7 without extensive training and If they did give them out without training you would be far more likely to injure yourself and others rather than a robot. Also How is any of that going to help against flying sniper bots?

/Rant

Other than said rant you pose an interesting hypothetical question to which I would reply that I would find myself a large octopus outfit in the hope that the target recognition software used by the robots was keyed to a human shape.

No TOW launcher? I also noticed a huge lack of HEI (High Explosive Incendiary AKA Dum-Dum) and HEAP (High Explosive Armor Piercing) muntions. Hell, any type of Steel Core Armor Piercing muntions would be better then FMJ against hard targets such as robots.

Given the type of engagements likely, the Bradley CFV would be the perfect vehicle to use. Fast firing 25mm (soon to be 30mm) Bushmaster cannon with discarding armor piercing SABOT rounds coupled with the ability to launch ATGMs (TOW-2A/B or FGM-148) to defeat any heavy threats and the ability to transport a squad of 6 with all their gear.
