I find it interesting how ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING is now considered 'gaming discussion'.

On topic, it's no longer a matter of what's good or bad, but really just what people want as a whole

your not seriously telling me you will continue to smoke weed in the army, theres a reason why alcohol is banned when on tour of duty. Also in a disciplined organisation you arent even disciplined enough to give up something you say you arent even addicted to.

i hope you are in the US army and not the UK army, infact i hope you get a court martial. this is why the army is losing wars and people are dying on our side because people like you think its fun to smoke weed and cant maintain the discipline of the armed forces.

Skipping that detail, my experience is that those who dabble in illegal substances end up harming everyone around them (In my case, family members including myself having money stolen from to fund use or pay debts owed to a supplier). Based on the actions of those I've known I would be inclined to go entirely against the use of drugs, although I do realise that any substance has the potential to be abused and irrationally desired and that such actions depend on the person.

I suppose people can do what they want, but I don't want those people anywhere near me or anyone I care about.

Weed is great.

I say this after just coming back from a trip to Amsterdam. Different types can affect your mood in different ways so some people that may not have had such a good time with it for this reason, doesn't mean that all weed will affect you in that way. I've had weed here in Britain and it was to be honest nothing special, but smoking it properly improved it no end. A lot of it is in the execution of how you smoke it.

I think Alcohol is more damaging to you tbh and weed's better anyway. Should be legalised.

Weed is known to give people a sharp reaction when they hit their later years, 40's, 50's. The reaction being similar to schizophrenia, but more like post-traumatic stress disorder(shell shock). When you keep altering your brain's chemicals all your life, the balance gets screwed up over time.

If that was true, pretty much every anti-drug crusader would be spewing it 24/7. Also, there's a LOT of false information when it comes to any sort of illicit substances. So I'd check your sources carefully.

Frankly, this argument against legalization pisses me off. The currently-licensed growers have a stranglehold on the market, and are basically saying "hey, fuck the rest of you, we've got ours". To claim that corporations are going to somehow ruin the cannabis industry is an agonizingly ironic outcry of "we don't want competition because they're greedy".

You are familiar with microbreweries, yes? Despite the fact that Annheiser-Busch and other enormous beer manufacturers are popular national brands, they do extremely well with local business, because they tend to be of higher quality. The local growers and distributors that you're worried about would fill a similar niche. The fact that they would impede the progress of a nation in regards to drug policy in the name of a profits show that they're every bit as soulless as the corporations they're saying will ruin cannabis.

Perfectly fine druge, if you look at it's effects and addiction qualities, it is a lower ranking drug than alcohol. All prohibition ever did was funnel money into gangs and funded worse drug development like meth,heroine and crack.

I don't think it's good or bad. It just is. Some people enjoy it, good for them. It holds no interest for me. It obviously shouldn't be illegal that's just laughable, but personally it pisses me off when pro-cannabis people evangelise at me for not bothering with it (some friends of mine used to do this at me incessantly). I don't want to try it. I don't care that it's not harmful, I don't care about any of that shit. I'm already on your side, plz to be pissing off and bother someone else!
