Poll: Weekday sale, L4D or L4D2?

Both Left 4 Deads are on sale for $6.75, I was wondering which I should get..?

or the pack for $10 but ppl have pointed out that their is somewhat no point to L4D1.

L4D2 gets you L4D2 - which is just generally better - gets you the No Mercy Campaign from the first one and the Sacrifice, so you just get more for your money. However, I would get both, they're both that awesome in my opinion.

L4D2, pretty much looks like no new content will come out for 1 now, and the porting of no mercy kills any reason to actually play one any more.

Left 4 Dead 2, as though the first game is fun the second one is the same game but with extra features.

Definately make sure that your computer will be able to take it online first though, as I paid the price of that when I brought Left 4 Dead...

I actually prefer the first L4D over the second. I'm not sure why though, so I'm not much help to you

L4D has better atmosphere and characters if you ask me, but L4D2 has better gameplay and more features. And (assuming you're getting it for PC), L4D2 now comes with plenty of free DLC, including a port of No Mercy, L4D1's best campaign by far. If I were you, I would get both, but you'd be alright just getting the second one.

You're better off getting both since the both only cost $10 in the pack. If you had to choose between one or the other, get L4D2. It fixes the main problem the original had (lack of weapon, level, objective, and enemy variety).

Gotta go with L4D2 because you simply get more for your money. Also No Mercy is being released for L4D2 as well so you play part of L4D is you like.

L4D is just a classic. I had lots of my favourite moments in gaming on that game, and it is absolutely amazing.
