Poll: Were you/Are you bullied in school?

I used to till i punched the guy who was bullying me straight in the face and broke his nose after that everyone kept a few steps away from me. (i was in year 8 he was in year 11).

Yes, from kindergarten to grade 11. Couldn't do much to stop it either (teachers didn't help for six years), considering I was about 4'6'' and 110 pounds..

Yes.
It's probably because I used to be a complete ass during my Primary-school years and then I changed into someone nicer, more intelligent and nerdier whilst the others didn't grow up...at all.
I deal with it by not giving any reaction whatsoever, which does fuck all, but it'll stop things going further. Although if they start getting too physical with it then I prepare to let the punches throw.

I get bullied a bit. I get sick a lot, sometimes from being bored at school so much so I miss a fair bit but I skipped up a grade last year and no-one can understand why. I used to be picked on for that but now I get mostly random attacks for as far as I can tell no reason.

10 years and still going on. i would have beat the shit out of them by now, but i hate fighting, that, and i,m 1,90 tall and would probably send them to the hospital in 3 seconds.

Very... very... very... rarely. People, for reasons beyond me, seemed to have great respect for me in primary school, even though I was shorter than almost everyone for most of it and a shy guy with good grades. People would often ask me if I was ever bullied because they thought that I would be an easy target and were overly curious, but no. Oddness.

Now in high school I can understand though why not really, I'm tall, I don't give a stuff about what people think/ say to an almost worrying degree, I have a blackbelt, my best friend is a big guy, I think the second or so biggest in a grade of 300 people, and I can socialise with people outside my group if I feel like it.

So no, actually. Oddness...

Yep. It was the kind of psychological bullying that took me a couple of years away from these people to realize it was, in fact, bullying. It has left me with some minor mental scars that I'll probably keep for the rest of my life.

I was a really heavy set kid (I'm 19 and nearly four hundred pounds) so I got bullied for being fat, up until fourth grade, the teacher saw this kid, TJ, was picking on me. I was about to fucking cry when the teacher walked up and said loudly "I've got some stuff to do" the whispered to me "deal with this, I'll make sure you don't get any problems" At which point the entire class learned that when the 250lb. kid gets pissed off, he gets pissed off. I tackled my problem head on, and sat on his chest till he turned blue. To this day he flinches when I walk by.

OT: ummm I've never really been bullied much but I've had to deal with a lot of pricks.

before school one day, this ass-hole, slammed my locker door in my face, i then proceeded to kick him straight in the sack, (it was a fair move as he had been doing the locker thing for a while and i hadn't had the chance to fight back), he didn't turn up to class until 2nd period and never told the teachers, he never acted like a douche bag to me again...

Got bullied, was a bully. Pretty much the people who bullied me, I bullied back. It took one punch to a loud mouth to shut the rest of them up for the duration of my schooling. No one ever screwed with me after that little altercation. Plus, after said incident I mellowed out so, didn't get picked at and didn't bother to find someone to target. Didn't see a point in making someone miserable just because there may have been something I didn't like about them. I just adopted the saying 'live and let live.'

I really wasn't compared to a lot of other kids. But it helps that I befriended many of the bullies in my school. They were actually pretty cool guys.

People just don't try anything now because they know I'm an absolute nutter.

I was in high school till i broke the guy's leg, still got snide remarks from the chavs and dicks that we're in the retarded classes, but hey there all working at McDonalds now with crappy apartments to call home.
