Rum. Specifically, Coruba. Made to be a little bit sweeter just from being created via a slightly different process, so it's very tasty, and far too easy to drink straight.

That's the thing, i skipped that phase completely, it literally tasted like water for the last 30 minutes that i was drinking it.

it was seriously a disgusting amount, the huge ass handle of it that we had, i had around half, maybe a bit more of the bottle, in probably an hour. I never slept so good in my entire life that night, and i slept on my fucking bookbag of all things.

anytime i smell anything remotely similar to whiskey now, i instantly feel like i'm about to hurl everywhere.

Scotch personally. A nice smooth scotch is heaven. That and either IPA or black beer. Stouts too (heavier the better).

Also I think my Czech relatives would murder me if I didn't include Pilsner

Parrot Bay coconut rum is 1,000 times better than Malibu (especially the 90-proof)
St. Brendan's is 1,000 times better than Bailey's
Burnett's novelty candy-flavored vodkas taste the same as Pinnacle
Evan Williams is very close to Jack Daniels in taste
These options are all MUCH better than their more popular counterparts, and in most cases quite cheaper.

St. Germain elderflower liqueur is amazing, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur is amazing, and there is absolutely no substitute for Jameson.

Out of those listed, I think I'd go for whiskey. I like the taste better than vodka, and the others don't appeal to me that much except for beer (though I buy that cause its cheap...)

I enjoy most hard alcohols. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I would recommend Bärenjäger (German Honey Liqueur, great straight or on ice cream) or Yukon Jack (Canadian Honey Whiskey, best consumed on the rocks) right now. For a standard straight drink, though, vodka is usually my choice.
