Pretty much the only thing that annoys me with multiplayer FPS is the addition of gameplay elements that bring an element of luck to the game.

MP games, unless they are of a more freeform nature such as Minecraft, should generally be about skill.
Anything that detracts from the core idea of "may the best man win" is out of place and should be avoided.

The first thing that springs to mind is the RC-XD from Black Ops. If you use it you're nearly guaranteed a kill, and whether or not it's you or someone else is totally down to pot luck, which is an element that does not have a place in what is supposed to be a game of skill.

I am not much of a competetive guy, I play for enjoyment, not to win. So if I get a bad score in a game but it was a FUN match, I don't mind at all. if I get a good score, that's cool too. What ruins my enjoyment is the pot luck elements.

Disclaimer: Aside from the RC-XD and Chopper Gunner, Black Ops seems to be fairly well balanced thus far in the 4-5 hours I've spent playing it and far more of a game of skill than the clusterfuck of killstreak rewards and pot luck that MW2 was.

Unreal Tournament, for example, has none of these problems.

for the most part in regards to camping I agree, things I can't is spawn campers, can't do much in terms of strategy with them if you can move two inches before you lose your head. And the other reason, I like to rely on smoke grenades or phosphorus grenades to either conceal my presence, or burn them.
However, in a game like Call of Duty, because they use aim assist in the fucking multilayer because I guess treyarch and activision think we can't aim or something, they just need to wave the scope around in the smoke until they cross-hair sticks for a second, fire, and they just got a free kill. Other then that, camping is legit. Unless it's spawn camping, in which case, you're just ruining the game for everyone.

True. It's one thing to run around a spawn site shooting. It's quite another to stand behind them and pop them in the head every respawn. Not to mention the often illegitimate means of getting there.

None of the above, for me is that I have a crappy Internet connection for playing. So I am a PC Singleplayer-only guy just for that matter.
