Generally I'll only pay extra for campaign expansions and multiplayer maps. If only there was a system where I could get refunded if a game contained things I didn't like, such as QTEs and escort missions...
I'll usually buy any DLC that is rightly priced and actually adds more than the tiniest bit to the game. I've made that mistake before and I don't want to make it again. Hell, I've probably spent more time on an 80MSP-DLC for Lost Odyssey than I have with some of the other stuff I've downloaded.
