Poll: What brought you to The Escapist?

Well at first it was Zero Punctuation, but then more things started to come out such as Doomsday Arcade, Unskippable, and such, then I started to browse the forums and I've loved it ever since. =)
Came here because of ZP. After a while I started getting into the forums, and so far it has been great.
It was "There Will Be Brawl" actually. They had a video about how there series was being featured on the escapist. I took a look, and I was impressed!
I joined, but didn't post for a while though.

When I was little my parents hired me a babysitter who would bring over videogames to play, and one of the most common ones was Ocarina of time, which started my interest in Zelda as well as video games in general. Quite a few years later I was looking for a video walkthrough to a Zelda game on youtube, and I accidentally found adamwestslapdog's channel and in turn Zelda: The Abridged Series. After a long time of enjoying this, adamwestslapdog made a video in which he mentioned that he had a months worth of Zero Punctuation to catch up on. Then after about 6 months of only coming for Zero Punctuation (as well as Unskippable at that point), I became intrigued enough with the poles to join. And that my friends, is how I came to the Escapist.

Decided to make an account one day and came here for ZP every week and in those days the Escapist felt big and unknown. Moved onto Unskippable a la my b.i.l.
Now it feels much smaller and I know just about all the stuff in here

I caught word of Zero Punctuation during the Prototype/Infamous 'get your main character to wear lingerie to see which game is best' thing last year.
Then I started lurking around the forums for about 6 months, too scared to actually join, before I grew some testicles and joined. And now here I am, typing about it. Funny how things can work out sometimes.
