I'm bored, and also found myself sliding around the house in socks, so I made a thread.

Anyway, do you guys still do childish things?
I still slide around in socks a lot, pretend I can shoot water out of my hands in the shower, and play with Lego. Lego is awesome. And I recently started blowing bubbles :D
[sub]And pick my nose sometimes.[/sub]

Also, a poll which I was going to make a seperate thread about, but thought I'd just put it here.

To speak of my mental age, I voted for 11.

As for childish things that I still do, I tend to go back and watch the cartoons of my childhood. You know, the good old days of Cartoon Network when Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Johnny Bravo ruled the American cartoon scene.

Oh, and I also still play Pokemon. One can never outgrow that.

I still love shows like TMNT. God that show is awesome. I would say Avatar in place of TMNT but it aint on TV anymore as far as I'm aware

I wouldn't say that's childish to be honest. I'm 15 but pretty much everyone in my school will whack out their old SP's and Ds's (or older) to play Pokemon whenever a long coach trip looms. On my school ski trip (21 hour coach journey each way) we had a competition to see who could beat the Elite Four on Ruby fastest. I came third. Damn you Nick!

I tend to bounce between the mental ages of 10 and 30 depending on my mood. Right now I'm very close to 30.

I still watch movies for kids (I just recently watched Gremlins and Max Keeble's Big Move is up next) and I still play games that are more child-oriented, like Banjo-Kazooie.

Sometimes I like to pretend I have laser eyes.

I also like to use the phrase "You silly goose." Not sure if that one's childish though.

I'm all over the place.

One day I'm like a little child, like how a few days ago I was happily blowing soap bubbles at my niece's birthday. Mind you, she turned 18, so it runs in the family.

But I can just as easily switch to being a grave senior. Damn kids and their R&B music...

I'm very inclined to write "your mom" but that would be incredibly lame. Sliding around with socks is awesome, as is watching cartoons and playing with action figures. I hardly do them but still get enjoyment out of them, kinda like making lame 'your mom' jokes.

My mind is a mixture of very childish and very mature things. I still do "childish" things like slide around my kitchen floor in socks and rave over cute things (actually, that's more feminine than childish, but whatever!). But at the same time, I'm always thinking of mature things like love and my own mortality. I'm probably much more mature than other fifteen year olds, but at the same time I love nostalgia and the simplicity of being young.

So I don't really know my exact mental age, and I probably will never figure it out.

EDIT: I also really like Nerf guns, so I guess that's one more point for the childish side of me.

I play children's card games...And still attend Yu-Gi-Oh; Duel Monsters tournaments.

I play games like DDR and Just Dance.

Childhood Television shows; Still watched regularly.

Purchases manga and comic books that don't always have violent themes.

I'm going to go with sixteen, mostly because I don't want to think of myself as eleven...

Lego isn't childish. Don't let anyone tell you that. It's an art, the most versatile toy ever created.

Depends on the situation, I can be pretty mature and act my age but alot of the time that's boring so I act like a twelve year old.

My sense of humour is also that of a seven year old who has been hit, with force, on the head with a shovel, or trowel.

I often like to walk around my house wearing a duster coat pretending I'm the Kapitan of my own Airship. I also play with Lego and often ride a sleeping bag down my stairs.

Don't judge me!

Pokemon is apparently "childish". It isn't really, but people will call it whatever they want.

That's...really about it. I waste a lot of time, I suppose that could be another thing.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but it is still considered childish by lots of people I know...
