Poll: What classic gen games would you want to see a remake of?

Some remakes have been amazing and worth it.

Prince of Persia.

Metroid.

Sonic (Hey, I enjoyed Adventure)

Then......some have been bad.

*glares over at Shinobi* My favorite was 3. Apparently, that's where the GOOD section of the series died.

Anyways, favorite old games on SNES or Genesis (Or earlier) games you'd like to see a remake of. What are they?

I personally would like to see Chakan The Forever man.

Maybe even Primal Rage *though Jurassic Park made a fighting game that I guess covers that, though I never got a chance to play it*

How about The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past? Playing from a modern, behind the back perspective would make it seem like a brand new game.

Final Fantasy VI would be nice...eh actually probably not.

System Shock 2? Deus Ex? Doom? (Oh wait, Doom 3 was a remake of Doom XD).

I dunno, I would probably go for a remake of Tomb Raider (oh wait XD)

Well, new one IS coming soon, but after Double Agent, not holding my breath. (though I played the PS2 version, so maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it)

It's not properly first-gen, but I'd love to see GoldenEye reskinned. The gameplay will be awesome forever. It just looks like crap.

And updating the first Final Fantasy would be very interesting. They haven't done that yet, right? I don't think they've done that yet. They could even keep the battle system the same. Just update the graphics and triple the speed.

It looks like a freaking jason bourne/jack baur on the run type thing. While that would appeal to me for most any game, it doesn't fit my view of splintercell.

I want to be sneaky and exercise the 5th freedom for the NSA. I want to rob banks, sneak into the CIA, I want to go though a missile silo, I want to sneak around a Chinese embassy. Run around a blacked out New York, rescuse hostages in a abattoir.

BTW Double agent never existed it's not cannon (at least that's what I keep telling myself)

Similarly playing Underworld makes me want a remake of all the PS 1 Tomb Raiders.

As well you should. 8/ It was terrible. The single bar *trust* that felt more like alignment was stupid.

Two bars, affected by what they KNEW you had done. THAT would have been a better trust system.

Square has said before that they want to remake FFVI for the DS. I'd assume it will happen after the Chrono Trigger remake.
