How about The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past? Playing from a modern, behind the back perspective would make it seem like a brand new game.
The only way I would play that again if it was in 3D, and less bloody hard...

definitely conker live and loaded redone on the 360 because it was an amazing game that came out at the end of the xbox's life
Why the hell do you need a remake of a remake?! I think that game looks fantastic as it is.

I don't think any of them need to be re-made, APART FROM: Balloon Fight, WE NEED A WII VERSION OF THIS!

The only dungeon I think would need a difficulty overhaul would be Turtle Rock. In my opinion, the game was challenging but fair up until that point. Turtle Rock was just unforgivable.

As for Balloon Fight Wii... Think about what you're saying. If that were made for Wii, you'd probably have to flap your arms to stay in the air, like the balloon fighter does in the game. The only question would be, how fast would that get old: quickly, or very quickly?

Final Fantasy VI would be nice...eh actually probably not.
Square has said before that they want to remake FFVI for the DS. I'd assume it will happen after the Chrono Trigger remake.
No, after CT comes Final Fantasy V. THEN FFVI. Do be sensible.

I can think of very few games that really need a remake. Someone mentioned the PS1 Tomb Raiders, and I'd agree with that - after the fluidity of Anniversary, TR2 felt surprisingly dull. I'd also like the original System Shock to be remade, along with Grim Fandango and Goldeneye. Though we could live with the originals, the ability to play them on newer machines would be a godsend.

Really old games I'd like remade are Metroid II, Kid Icarus and the NES Zeldas.

Huh, I didn't have much of a problem with Turtle Rock for some reason... That game took me months to get to the final dungeon, and even now I haven't completed the damn thing.

Oh god no... I wasn't thinking of it with any stupid gimmicks, just enhanced graphics, and multiplayer.

Problem with NES or SNES games is that most of them are remade over & over & OVER AGAIN, so options are few.

I would personally love to see a new Joe & Mac platformer, only much more whacky. F-Zero, which has had some incarnations, oughta be remade & revamped, make it a little more like Xtreme G Racing. Umm, I'm having difficulty remembering what other games I've played on it...

OOO, Castlevania. I know they're being remade, but that's just nearly the same game over & over. When I first saw Devil May Cry, I immediately said "This is the new Castlevania", & since then have wanted a Castlevania game more focused on action & coolness.

If you could remake Goldeneye and have the developer not commit suicide that would be good. I played it, and realised that by todays standards it's terrible.

It's not that Turtle Rock was incredibly complex, it just takes an obscene amount of Magic Power to finish. At that point, I usually have all my bottles, and can get three filled with Green Medicine... But it's never enough. D:<

That, I would play. I can't imagine Nintendo would be willing to create a game like that without some gimmick, though.

Also, you can now vote that the Pokemon games are fine as is in my other poll since you requested it.

Goldeneye HAS been remade in the Source engine. Pity the servers are empty. Also any Legend of Zelda game remake is..odd. A remake of the A Link to the Past would be Ocarina of Time, pretty much. Sure, the maps would differ and there would be a different mechanics, but it'd be pretty much the same. I love Zelda games but even a stalwart fan has to agree that there isn't huge differences between the games.

Hence, if I wanted a remake I'd want something that would really benefit from the new hardware. I'd love to see a remake of Cannon Fodder myself.

That's exactly what I mean. The concept is mind-boggling. XD
So...it's from the viewpoint of the person you're aiming at???

Yeah! Plus, it constantly switches perspective between the different objects that you can shoot. So, you never know through whose eyes you'll be looking! XD
