Poll: What colour do want your blood to be?

Red, but not because I am boring, but because I like my red skin tone.

If I had green blood, for example, then when I blushed or was hot my skin would take on a green tinge with I don't think would look too good. I think it would be the same with any other colour blood, your skin would look weird and very possible off-putting when blood was near the surface of your skin.

White or clear blood would be bad too, you'd probably look like a corpse, and black blood would look weird, you'd probably turn grey or just appear really splotchy.

If I was forced to have my blood colour changed, then I would choose a colour that is as close to red as possible, so that my skin wouldn't look weird and horrible.

However, if by some magical bending of the rules of physics, I could have my blood colour changed without it affecting my skin and external appearance, then I would choose purple as it's my favourite colour.

I imagine white blood could lead to some awkward assumptions on other peoples' parts about what that white stain is...Plus the worst part about blood stains is that they permanently stain yellow, which I don't think would change.

Although... people that know I have white blood may now make more innocent assumptions about stains that would have otherwise raised an eyebrow. >_>

You're right about the yellow, though, I guess I was thinking of it more like ink.

I voted red. It's the color we've all come to known as blood, and is easier to distinguish as such when you are bleeding. I might wake up bleeding, with blood on the floor (Hypothetically) and see, for example, pink blood. It's easy to forget your blood is a different color and disregard the blood as some pink paint or something.

Pushing that aside, I would like perhaps a light blueish color blood? They are among my favorite colors.
