Poll: What colour should I paint my room?

Well my room was pink and purple from when my sister was in it. Last summer I changed it to Dark Blue and White and then added random decal to the White wall. It looks nice and feels open.

Leave it, small rooms look even smaller when you paint them. Tear off all the wallpaper, plaster it and leave it white. Hell, I have a big room with windows on two sides and a mirror on a third and I still have it white because I like my rooms to feel big.

Blue, a dark blue. Thats what my room is painted and it works very well. Light in the day and dark in the night.

Pink is actually really nice for a bedroom as it seems really cosy and warm with the right lighting.

I personally prefer light yellow. It looks rather well on its own, and it just feels right with sunlight. It's also a rather neutral colour, it doesn't stick in your face.

I think blue is rather similar, but being a bedroom, it helps it feel more sleepy (because it doesn't bounce the sunlight around as much as yellow). It isn't in-your-face, it is a fairly well-liked colour, it doesn't clash with anything (except things that clash with everything), and it is a relaxing colour. Perfect for a bedroom paint-job.

I would leave it white and use it as a canvas, nothing more personal than that, I can't wait to try this once I get my own place lol

Go with blue. Either baby or robin egg blue. It's a good color and with the green carpet and yellow blinds it should make the room feel very outdoorsy and open.

Hi there!

I've been here for more than a year, and I have not made a thread yet. So time to change that!

Okay, I recently moved house. Well, my mum did, and I live with my parents, so I... half-moved house?

Anyway, my room was to be the small, isolated room, which had a horrible yellow wallpaper and border. We started to just remove the border, but instead we found borders upon borders upon paint upon wallpaper upon borders, and decided to fix that. So now my room has white wallpaper, the kind that is designed to be painted. And since I couldn't decide on a colour, I'm asking you to pick it for me.

So if you could answer the poll/give a reason/tell me about your wallpaper/rooms/moving house/horror stories about wallpaper/rooms/moving house, then that would be great. Thank you! ^-^

youll sleep better in a darker color room, so go with a dark deep sea blue.
