Actually i live in Yukon, East of Alaska, lol. but i have had experience with Quebecers, and nothing but bad stories about them, how they imprison people who speak english, if not give them a beating and kick them out of 'French Canada'. that type of stuff makes me sick.

Not true. Sure, from a gamer's perspective there are some reasons to be annoyed with living here. But past that, we really are lucky.

The Economist rated Australia as having the sixth highest quality of life out of all countries. Melbourne is also the second most liveable city in the world according to the same source.

what is bad about Australia? i have always wanted to visit and maybe even live there.

There are some mild difficulties with a certain Michael Atkinson for the gaming community. Aside from that? Very little.

We have low crime rates, high education, strong health care relative to the US, a high life expectancy (especially if you're not obese), and strong civil and political rights protection for citizens, despite lacking a Constitution in our system. That last part, thankfully, may change anyway. Certainly, a lot of people want it to happen.
