nice. i just picked up the new 1090T and it is a smoking cpu. the quads are awesome cpu's also. my buddy has phenom II 945BE

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, running at 3.6 Ghz.

It's getting on in age now, but it still runs very well, considering.

never used a Multicore intel but they say the core 2 duo's are great cpu's.

An AMD 64 X2 6000+ (3 Ghz dual core). It's 2 ½ years old, but still perfectly serviceable for my PC gaming needs.

A quad core AMD Phenom 9850 BE running at 2.5 gigs. It does what I need it to. I would like it to handle Photoshop and Lightroom a bit better, though but this isn't a workstation.

OT: I've got myself a an AMD Phenom X4 3.2 GHz 955 "Black Edition" and it works super awesome. Might be a little to powerfull for my current GPU but I'll fix that some day.
