i shot at the people and failed the mission since i have the german version -.-

Ironic isnt it? You government killed millions of Jews in gas chambers but wont let you shoot a bunch of Innocents as an American.

As for me, i tried to break the level by "running" ahead of the rest of the gang. I found out that Makarov just shoots me in the back when i do that. So i thought i could fix that by killing everything he could potentially be aiming for and for my efforts i received a thumper grenade up my ass while i was in an area that was completely empty save for me. Then i said "fuck this badly scripted controversy whoring POS" and skipped ahead to the next level.

I shot everyone. I didn't feel guilty, it IS Modern Warfare, and like it or not, people pull cheap shots even in wars. And I was glad to be a part of it.

I felt a little guilty, if anything because I let myself get deeply immersed in a character's actions (FPS, etc, whatever), and I would think that the CIA agent you're playing as would at least be a bit horrified at the damn thing...

First time I shot a couple of people, mostly the cops though, didn't really bother with the civilians that much. Second time I just strolled along doing nothing, I just wanted to complete it on Veteran.
