Poll: What did you think of Transformers 3?

It was better that Transformers 2, but that still didn't make it good. I didn't enjoy it at all, but my friends seemed to enjoy it, so I'll say it was alright, nothing spectacular though.

Apollo 11 was the shortest out of any moon landing mission, it was only there for a handful of hours, two of which spent on the surface. If 20 minutes of that became classified, many questions would abound. Apollo 11 also landed on a site in clear view by telescope as well as spotted in Ranger 8 (a probe whose findings were broadcast on live television several years prior). Covering up a giant pile of metal on live television would be a major feat even with today's tv-editing software. Apollo 14, 15 and 17 all landed far closer to the terminator of the Moon, one of which actually did spend some time in darkness. 15, 16 and 17 all had rovers, and all spent longer than 10 hours on the surface for exploring, and all had their landing sites chosen with different means than the live-broadcast Ranger program. These are all simple factual errors that made me very annoyed only a few seconds into the commercial for the movie, so I never saw it. It might have had a fighting chance if it was simply ANY OTHER APOLLO MISSION THAN 11 shown.

But the final nail in the coffin was saying the "Dark Side of the Moon". The Moon has no dark side. It has a far side, since one side is always facing the Earth, but both sides get equal amount of light and dark.

Had some fantastic action sequences, and you have to be a real cynic if the plot was a deal-breaker. It's a movie about giant sword-fighting robots based off a toy series from the late 80's, plot is practically irrelevant.

My biggest complaint was that the 3-D was lackluster and not really used to its full potential. The additional $4 was not worth it, but the initial $9 was certainly a great summer experience.

I thought it was cool. Story was relatively unoriginal and bland, but worked for what it was doing. I loved everything else, including the replacement of Fox's useless character. I did absolutely hate that they killed Starscream. He was my favourite character in the original series.
