I can play on expert in Guitar Hero, but I tend not to get past the first few seconds...

For Rock Band I've only ever played it drunk at 2:00am, so it may not be the best indication of my skill, especially when 'singing' BYOB.

depends. I'm about 50% hard 50% expert. I only tend to play songs that I like, and they tend to be the easier songs. So I suppose "hard" would be my simple answer. :p

Nope, but I can play every song I've found on Tap Tap Revenge 3 at at least 95% accuracy, and usually most expert songs at 99-100% accuracy.

Well, I really only play Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero 2, but I rarely play on any difficulty other than expert.

Drums, guitar, bass, expert every single time unless it's Panic Attack or Visions or something. Singing, I sometimes have to go hard, but I can sing on expert sometimes.

Medium. I only have GH2 and 3, and the difficulty curve is a huge jump on those damn things. I could five star every main song on easy without trying (raining blood took a while), but then I get to medium and I can barely get through the last half of them. I gave up and went back to my bass(es).

Expert :D I play bass in real life so sliding 1 fret to hit an orange note is a breeze for me. I can also play expert on drums and (if I know the song) vocals.

I personally play on Expert. I like that mode the best because, although it is hard, for every note that you hit on the controller, the guitarest hits one as well. Being on a 1-1 ratio with the music is a lot more fun. Also, many of the songs are really designed to be played that way, with five notes going up and down the guitar neck.
Also, you might want to turn this thread into a poll.

Expert on all instruments. I find it funny how you guys find some FPS's really easy and Rock Band really hard while I have the exact opposite opinion.
Who said that?

=ahem=

Although I've since either broken or sold my music game stuff, I could do expert on everything, ever. Except the Thrasher Rock Band 2 DLC. Fuck that song.

Rockband I play on Expert, GH2/GH3/Metallica I play on Hard. Only with guitar, don't have a drum set and you may aswell sing at a wall if you're going to use your headset for vocals because it doesn't pick up shit.

I used to love Medium, 100% most songs, then went up to Hard/Expert and now cannot play medium, it's so boring.

I'm one of those saddos that just love playing the games, I can sit for hours working through the setlist or dlc. The fact a new GH is coming out with a setlist I love is awesome as far as I'm concerned. If I put as many hours into a real guitar as I did those games I'd probably be quite good, yet as soon as I pick up a real guitar I get frustrated at the lack on instant gratification.
