Minimal killing (or zero killing, depends on how the game works) and no use of overpowered abilities.
Since you play as an assassin, zero killing isn't going to be an option if you actually want to finish the game.

I'm going to go for zero collateral. Guards, civvies, and so on will keep their throats, and most of my powers will therefore be based around traversing the area most easily without being spotted.

When a game goes the Deus Ex route and provides the possibility for a "pacifist" run, I feel like I have to try it out. If I want to go on a murder-spree, I can close my eyes and pop in a random disc from my library. But pacifist runs are unusual.
you can do a no kill run, even for VIPs that must die. you can cause something to happen where you dont kill them, something/someone else does.

I'll probably go super-stealthy, but leave a trail of utter carnage behind me, in order to terrify the NPCs. Psychological warfare.

Do whatever feels right/is fun to do at the time.
I don't think we can really plan ahead with Dishonored until we've seen the finished game.
captcha: beats me.

I'll try to be stealthy, get noticed by a guard and end up massacring the place, civilians, enemies and allies alike.

I'm going with the true assassin approach.

Be invisible, infiltrate, slit your targets throat, and get out unseen.
This is exactly what I intended to do, if only because making every single target "disappear" by sending them to the Salt Mines is ridiculous and I refuse to believe people wouldn't catch on eventually. You're not a very good assassin if you don't actually kill your targets.

This game really gives me a Dark Messiah of Might and Magic/Thief vibe so I will try stealth at first, because I find it challenging.

If I manage to screw that up,I can always rely on "sword through the neck" strategy.

If I can, I think I'm going to do my Deus Ex: Human Revolution run. I won't just play the game stealthily, and I wont just play a complete pacifist, no no nooooo. I'm going to knock out ever last bugger I come across. Everyone will be on the ground. There shall be a sea of unconscious (but alive) bodies everywhere I go.

That is, if I can knock out people. If not, I guess I'll do the obligatory no-kill run or the kill-errbody run. Anyways, no one will see me.

I will not kill guards or innocents, as for my targets, I guess I just go with feels more like justice at the time, so I kill some but not others...
