This is just something that popped into my head today as I was playing Batman Arkham City. Just a question. Care to explain your answer below?
its funny,. Ive always seen it as the other way aroundgritch said:I have consciously made a very clear difference between a "nerd" and "geek". A nerd is someone who is into maybe an unpopular medium or is into it "too" much for it to be considered normal. They need not be intelligent or antisocial. A geek on the other hand is far more into the sciences and mathematics. Here intelligence is a prerequisite. That is not to say there isn't overlap between the two groups, in fact there's undoubtedly a great deal.
So by these definitions I would place comics as the nerdiest. The fan of comics (at least in my experience) seem far more attached to their medium that most other fans and mathematics would be the geekiest.
